I have been mugged, in Châtelet in Paris. I'd nipped out the pub to get some food. On my return the barman suggested not going looking for them as 'they've all got knives'. So we left it and had another beer, no worries.

I've been to the pub maybe 3 times since the ban and each time I drank up and left such was the stench from the half-wits & their "need" to do their drugs.

And how many times did you go before the ban? None? If you'd never been to a pub before I suspect you're past the age where you might start enjoying it.

Prior to the ban we used to visit the pub garden for a drink maybe 10-15 times a year, now it's down to once – at most.
