Look in Tools > Account Settings for your current account settings – make a note of these and put them in to Outlook on the new machine.

Do you need to move the current emails too? Are they stored on the computer itself? If so, google around .pst files.

I’m assuming you’ve got a pop account or similar and download from there to outlook.

Repair or re-install?

Repair – I don’t *think* it matters

Re-install – the disk needs to match up to your licence code (Professional or Home and with the correct Service Pack). So if your computer came with XP Home SP2, then that’s the disk you need.
