Is it even worth asking if there is any reasoning behind this statement of faith?

just do a bit of research yourself, Van allen belt, why havent we been back since? (oh yeah the technology got destroyed). the lack of impact crater on the moon landing site (but many footprints), the waving flag, multiple light sources, no visible stars, duplicate backdrops used in different scenes, rock samples brought back match those from antarctica….much much more.

believe what you want just dont dismiss it without 1st researching yourself.

If the duct has a CSA of 1m2, and the heating coil has a CSA of 1m2, the coil will completely block the duct anyway, so there will be no flow.

Assume the coil has a free area of 50%, air passed through it. and it is the speed of this air I am interested in.

These are all very hypothetical numbers so dont focus on the figures too much.

Is v2 the same or different to v?

This makes no sense. If your original duct has a cross section of 1m2 then how can you fit a heating coil inside it with a 2m2 flow area?

what impact will putting a larger coil at an angle have?

Will this increase/decrease or have no affect on velocity?

The problem with that is you have to lift a heavy log 3′ up in the air.

have you ever used a log splitter? try bending over one for a good few hours splitting logs, the raised ones are much easier on the back.
