Just remind me, SRAM Shifters wont work with Shimano rear mech right? its the indexing?

(I know my SRAM XO shifters work with my XTR front mech 2 x 10).

Just doesnt seem to be getting it, I could just persevere, but want to know what my options are.

It does seem to be the case that the more expensive kids bikes, ISLA Bikes, early riders etc have trigger shifters though? Maybe thats because they are marketed at Dad and not the kids? :-)

I am the same, after a good few years of due to 1st child, sleepless nights etc Laziness.

Got myself a very bouncy yeti SB6 and am fully back into the addiction, was even out last weekend in the slippy slidy stuff, fell off several times but still giggled the whole way round Ballo Woods.

So I did it and I like it, but not sure if a little too much. It certainly ties the front end in better, its just a little more “shouty” than I am used to, usually going for black stealth on bikes.

They are both yeti editions DezB?

I was the same, used to ride XC and built up an awesome 100mm travel Turner Flux.
The the little one arrived, and didnt bike much.

Tried to get back into it recently and took the XC bike to Laggan Wolftrax, and hated it, got bounced around all over the place and was going to sell the bike.

Then did a demo day at laggan a few weeks later, rode a yeti SB6 enduro bike, never smiled so much (not common for me), and realised I needed more bounce on my bike.

Now the proud owner of my own Yeti SB6 and have well and truly got the bug again!!!

OK was gonna go for the burgtec Penthouse rather than buy twice, but now you have given me the boost dilema, how much extra does the boost give you? How do I know if I need it?

Currently have Wellgo B124’s on my XC Bike which are fine, but want to avoid rub on my new cranks and the penthouses do look like they dont have much room?

thanks guys, I think you have scared me off a 2nd hand purchase. (thats a good thing). The warranty thing was weighing hugely on my mind to be honest, and the faff travelling half way across the country and no comeback if things go wrong.

Good new is that I’ve found the bike I want, brand new 2019 (ex-display) for only £600 more than the 2nd hand one, with full lifetime frame warranty, and on finance so going for that.

So now, what flat pedals for and enduro bike??…or maybe thats another post…..

firestick is into the HDMI port on the amp (a 4K one if that makes any difference).

I may revert back to firestick into HDMI 1 on the TV and see what happens

Hmmm, still problems.

Everything through the firestick seem to be affected, its a 1st genberation, could it be gubbed?

BBC iplayer stops, netflix stops, GAIA yoga app stops although spotify seem to work OK.

Sometimes says I have lost internet connection/connectivity, could the wifi be gubbed on the fire stick? its well within range and in same room as router.

Gonna try a new firestick on the tv tonight and see what happens.

So I only have one HDMI cable, but it was in HDMI 1. I swapped the HDMI cable to HDMI 2, removed the optical from the TV, and all seems good so far, fingers crossed.

Makes me wonder why I had the optical from the TV to the AMP in the 1st place? – I am sure its something to do with only Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD MA or something cant go through the ARC channel via HDMI? any ideas on this? I must have done it for a reason? or maybe thats before I realised I had an ARC on the TV?

OK – your OP wasn’t particularly clear and sort of suggested you may have 2 HDMI cables between TV and amp

yeah i know, and now I am not sure and not at home.

Double check which HDMI port on the TV you need connecting to the ARC on the amp. I seem to remember it wasn’t as I imagined when I set mine up (Pana TV, Denon amp) but could just be that combo.

Pretty sure it is in HDMI 1, but will have to double check the manual, thanks

Weird though as I am getting sound from the built in apps on the tv through the amp, but that could be coming through the optical cable??

the HDMI output on the back says ARC on it so I assume so?

Does the amp have a load of separate HDMI inputs or do you have another device as well (e.g. HDMI switch)?
