How much is it worth then, if £1500 new? Looks pretty old (2006?), condition may be a factor. I have an old Marin that I’d probably give away…

in summary, take growth hormone if you’re getting on a bit and starting to creak and have a spare few thousand quid.

Swings and roundabouts, growth hormone has been linked to age related diseases (heart disease, diabetes, cancer etc)

…Clarkson was still a virginal spotty petrol station attendant with no friends and a fetish for masturbating wearing his dads driving gloves while dribbling old engine oil over his face and chest..

    Love it. Oh, the Lambo.

The minimalist in me would post day 2 stuff/evening wear to the B&B, then post day 1 stuff/evening wear home.

But I am an idiot 🙂

Banana skins are biodegradable but take years to break down

That’s not true though, is it? Banana skins take up to 6 weeks to degrade.*

I agree about the wrappers/rubbish though, how hard is it to put it back in the pocket it came from?

*Edit: I do not condone the dropping of said skins.

That’s just it though, I do (kind of) understand the thrill seeker/ explorer mentality.

What I don’t understand is how these people try to mix their ‘stare death in the face’ exploits, with providing the security that a family needs and deserves.

    That’s what I find selfish.

Those that don’t turn back often achieve great feats and gain a lot from it personally

Greater than having a loving family and friends? Your young son having a father? etc

I understand adventure but when you have a young family it can be selfish and unnecessary, as in this case.

I’m glad we live in a world where people do such things from time to time.

I’m glad none of them are related to me, or anyone I care about.

    5 mins into the journey:

“I’m scared I’ll never see my family again. My son needs a father, my wife needs a husband. I’m wondering why I’m doing this and I don’t have an answer”

Turn around and go back ffs!

The assault didn’t lead to his death. Hence the verdict!

    Wrong:

April 2009: Further post-mortem tests find cause of death was abdominal bleeding, caused by blow

I think we should take a leaf out of the EU’s book and try and re-try him until we get the result that we wanted in the first place based on whatever prejudice we happened to have about the police.

It’s not about prejudice though, is it? It’s about seeing an assault that led to a man’s death.

    Reasonable force?

    In what way?

    Given that

During the trial, the police officer accepted he was “wrong” to have hit and pushed Mr Tomlinson.

He said that, had he realised at the time that Mr Tomlinson was walking away from police lines, he “would not have gone near him”.

I’m pretty sure Aviva, I covered mine away from home to a value of £1500 for an additional £12 or something around that price

That seems dear. I have individual cover on each of my bikes from Santander; and £1600 worth – new for old, home and away, is less than £5p/m extra.
