5 7 ish I think but 31inch leg. Use a thomson straight, no where near full extension, but granted looks quite high due to the drop on the 16. The 2011 frame has bigged seat tube which might help that, just waiting for mine back as cracked my ’09 so have got a 2011 coming under crash replacement. Has standard thomson stem that comes with a pro. No problems and very comfy to ride! You just need to go sit on a couple and make your mind up, the extra couple of inches in your height could be the difference between a 17/18 and short/long stem 🙂

16″ here, 31 leg, when stood over ball bag was resting on frame when I tried 18 which wouldnt be good for the trickier stuff. Good to chuck around.

Think the road at the bottom of belmont res is still shut as there doing some work (may be open now) so you would need to take the right hand turn at the bottom before the village, few different ways to get on witton, either straight over at next junction then farm track on right or take the left at junction and join back onto the route as above round the bottom right of the res.

Dont/didnt the metas have frame issues – trance x gets great reviews but for me its…..

yes and yes – only ones i use. Stick with sintered this time of year and they last ages.

Ive got an io – changed from rigid though as that was a bit too much – got 100mil on front now. Its a great bike when im out on my own doing xc stuff and with people who are not the quickest for whatever reason but for me the five is number 1, and I have an f700 cannondale as number 2 – io is for the above or when riding with the missus.

Spanking bike though!

I love my 5, only thing i regret is not getting an Orange Orange!!
