The other problem I have found was that one of the valves got clogged up with latex which had set.

i have read that a new product may resolve this, i've not tried it myself (think its only in the USA at the mo) but it is called CaffeLatex – it foams up inside the tyes when they are rotated

i really don't believe we are getting brighter so quickly

i truly believe the teachers are simply better at training the kids how to deal with examinations and how to score higher marks out of the system

don't the school league tables encourage this to spin good pr for the school?

from some of the school leavers and graduates I have seen at work i cannot say that they are super intelligent….! their grammar and letter/report written work is terrible! 😉

I don't know if it's my imagination, but it felt like the bike had less rolling resistance but substantially more grip. Is it just me, or have other people noticed this with tubeless?

no its not you! i find this as well!

    ditto ChatsworthMusters point

i don't consider myself as disrespectful to others or damaging to protected landscapes when i ride – neither do i want to only ride manicured crappy trail centres

freeridenick – are those 55's coil one side and air the other so that you can adjust them or are they just coil?

if i was in your shoes and knowing my local hills i'd go 120mm, i've just done the very same on a soul – yes it can technically take 130mm (probably fine even at 140mm), but i needed to lower the front end for my local climbs plus it makes it more fun in the twisty and tight singletrack in the forest

depends mainly on what you are using it for.. xc riding = xc frame and xc fork

yep – its more to avoid the chain getting stuck as it did previously, i should really buy one of those chain lenght checkers

tf – TBH i think i'll still give it a go, its only a cheap 456 frame

i see raceface have also started making BB's with longer threads as well

twas very excellent! 🙂 i just love those dh’s

i was gobsmacked when the lad on the snowmobile sped past me on the tarmac, how much tyre drag? and he finished in 3.5hrs – amazing

only gripe i had was the d!ckhead on the yeti shouting “BEEP” at people, not “rider” or “rider on the right, cheers” – just BEEP!

what a XwXX! i really really had a strong urge to stop, turn around and deck him….

reba 120mm ta or minute tpc 120mm ta – the soul is best at 120mm, the end! honestly!

IMO its a waste of a pike by sticking it on a xc frame

length is about 60km (45km off road in the forest) – ascent something in the region around 1600m -ish

    tracker – yes
science officer is right – the cracking DHs are somewhat spoilt imo by the 100% chance of a boring fire road climb
roach – climb site seemed well chilled out last year

sounds odd as UST tyres have a butyl lining on the inside of the tyre to stop such air leakage

are they quite old and have worn sideways in any way?

do they have this UST logo on them?

i use NN UST tyres and ALWAYS use latex sealant with my UST and tubeless ready tyres – what else is going to keep the air in all the holes the thorns round here make?

i’ve also been looking for something like this, but wanted something small and cheap but had the power to pop on the tyres without problems, been looking at these

TBH it is a poor fork and little should be expected from it in performance – i’ve seen some riders only get 40-50% travel out of the dart

if you can get a softer spring this may help but i’d recommend ditching it for a reba instead

yep, reckon an ideal bike for the mega is a 6″ FSer with lyrics/fox36s up front, the qualifier is a shorter race but a more technical ride, go for the week and practice the mega course and qualifier (you can get a weeks lift pass when booking your entry) – recommend that you do the mega course practice as early as possible in the morning just to ride down the glacier when it’s frozen – it’s mental fun!!!!! it melts too much in the afternoon and gets a bit too cut up by all the riders practicing

mavic 819’s or stan flows – dt swiss rims are too soft and can be a faff fitting certain tyres
