i keep on seeing people faffing with them at car parks, putting them in the boot etc. are they easily stolen?

i regularly have to report untaxed slightly damaged vehicles round where I live (no offroad parking for residents)

neighbours have pointed out to me one of the buildings round the corner is a large bedsit full of polish workers, and the vehicles appear to be simply left on the street when some have left the country

authorities seem very happy to remove them though

Everything costs what people will pay

    Exactly !
Always get the occasional "why does XYZ cost so much" thread with the same moans'n'groans, but it doesn't stop people clicking the 'add to basket' button…….

    but do they?

i don't, i'd love some new coil lyriks, but i am not going to pay over £700 for what i consider a basic coil fork that 18months ago i could of bought for around £400 <kicks myself>

X2's? i'd have got the M4's myself, no need for dinner plates then… unless you are ten stone nothing….

i've not used them to be honest (but have M4's on a Patriot and a Five) but have always just thought on them as just set of posh mini mono's; which i used to run on my Soul and they were pants – and a bike like a 5AM deserves decent brakes

    1. yes the reviews are good, the bike is a very good trail centre machine, but considerable cash is spend with the magazines on advertising, so read into this yourself

    2. it is quite active if you run a lot of sag, not a problem with a pro-pedal or swinger shock, but its a 5.5inch FS'er and not a anthem, any bob i get doesn't bother me

    3. i reckon around 66 to 66.5 for the 2010 frames, the geometry for the Five AM is on the webshite

    4. about 30-31 lbs

i don't work for orange BTW but ride several different ones, ultimately you should test ride one, don't make an expensive purchase off the advice from a webshite…

    'bout 8:30am-ish

£2.50 or £4 depending on duration

    yes – signed well

do two laps – blue first lap then then red with all the black options second, this should come to about 20 miles (the black sections are not that bad)

get a real man to fit your tyres in future 😉 joke!!

fit 'em with tubes the night before – it helps stretch the bead and generally makes inflating a tubeless ready/ust tyre a bit easier

then remove the inner and inflate with soapy beads and wheel milk

tubeless ready acx would be better as an all year tyre, it clears mud pretty well tbh

sorry but am i missing something here? if you buy a new 15QR lower, don't they come with the hatched brace?

my 2008 Float 140mm QR had the hatched brace btw, but were flexier than a noodle… mojo recently quoted me £129 for new 15QR lowers

are you riding in really muddy conditions or trail centres in the wet?

tbh i don't have an issue with racing ralph ust's around a trail centre in the pouring rain, but i won't bother with them in the local forests

for a more alrounder type tyre i prefer the bonty acx's tubeless ready over the mud-x, but the Medusa LUST are very good in really muddy conditions (better than the trailraker ust/mud-x tubeless ready imo)

    mmmm… nice and new…

not my cup of tea – orange, blue and silver but hay ho!

i thought about using argos with the very same colour for a restoration project; it that the no.77 enamel orange? is it much brighter in the flesh? as your photos appear slightly duller than the argos one
