you will find a spark to do the 2nd fix as you get builders who will run the cables (1st fix) and are not allowed to do any more than that. they will normally contract in a 2nd fix.

    what area?

i would have a “formal chat” with him. tell him he has X amount of days to finish any time after that will be on a sliding pay scale. and he wont be paid until the job is finished.

how long do you think it should take?

i use tubs for racing and would never use them on a training ride!

tubs tyres are £100 each end (roughly)

also tub rims are just as expensive as normal rims but are harder to get.

open pros are they way to go from past experience. mine are 2 years old and are still true after 2 years as cx wheels and now on my main road bike.

they will be be getting cx tyres on them in the winter and be used again this year.

Me too – Specialized are currently selling off this year’s Crux frame at about £600 and while I need a new CX, I want a disc braked one. Can’t wait for the new Crux.

    try £350.. http://www.evanscycles.com/products/specialized/crux-2012-cyclo-cross-frameset-ec023880?query=crux

i do like the 2012 colours

CFH,warton. that is a US version and spesh. do not have any immediate plans on bringing it to the uk!

I know as i called head office asking if they could order me one (at a price) to which they declined. I will be buying a crux disc frameset when it becomes available in the UK

tell them that you will cut the top off the tree BUT they have to move the dish as you want the tree to grow bigger to invite more wildlife in to your back garden.

Offer to help them move it (time not money)

that would be a pretty poor planning! going on Tour back to public duties!**** that for a game of soldiers!

when i came back from the Falklands i hade 3.1/2 months off. But i did walk into 3 months of guard duty as shift commander (proper boring job)

i have heard of pro-amateurs putting ice down the seatpost minuets before weigh in. then during the race the ice melts and they have a lighter bike.

not to sure on how true this is though

are you looking to buy new or second hand?

if you looking to buy new, then save your self some cash and buy 2nd hand, for the price of new forks i would imagine you could buy/upgrade all 3.

    (deore shifters are fine IMHO)
