just been looking in to this on swinton.

    they seem to cover it.

    What Personal Accident will cover†
Accidents at work – including dangerous occupations such as fire fighters, builders or roofers
Road traffic accidents whilst driving your car – even if it’s your fault
Accidents whilst gardening, doing DIY or playing amateur sports
    Worldwide cover
Many dangerous hobbies e.g. scuba diving, mountain biking or surfing – even whilst on holiday

but i like the look of the income protection

Income Protection provides a monthly tax free income if you are unable to work through illness or injury. The policy will continue to pay out until you are well enough to return to work or you retire.

also as its a FS frame, when you sit on it, the suspension should “sag”

this should lower the bb/raise the axle hight and stop the rubbing.

    hope that fixes the problem

try spraying hairspray on the bar 1st. let its set. spray some in the grip and slide it together.

but then surly the grip can melt all the way through and it wont be a comfy grip feeling if it has hard melted bits n there?

also it could mess up the carbon as it is a composite material?

wont the araldite “melt” the foam???

my self and leggyblonde are both very good technical mountain bikers also we (mainly LB) ride CX. LeggyBlonde doesn’t hang about and would rather ride some thing then run over it!!

if its faster to run over then thats the line 9/10 cx riders will take.

i have recovered a few of my bikes. Old school style though!

my brother is fairly well know around the area (made up of 3 council estates) if my bike was ever stolen i had it back with in a few days!!

i have only ever had one stolen and not recovered. But luckily Mike at dialled bikes hooked me up and i was back on the trails in no time.

It’s steel so you can cold set it

but you run the risk of significantly weakening the drop out as its a cast product.

if you need the distributors phone number mail me.

i know it can be a pain getting in contact with the guys at independent100. i mailed them 3 times no response.

phoned them and they sorted my problem out in 3 days!! Really good old school customer service.

well it will need to be heated to be bent back! it it was just bent to the side then you could possibly bent it back slowly.

the 3 options open to you are

1)bend it back and pray you dont snap it off/weaken it
2)ask a mechanic to do it
3)phone the distributors and ask them what they advise.

if you do snap it off its not the end of the world as a good frame builder can replace the drop out with a new one.

Finals should start about 9. Top 16 men and top 8 women. I would say 8.30 would be the latest safe bet.
