There are screws on the arms screw them in that might help. Also to run v brakes (properly) on a cx bike you need to run either mini v’s or use a ratio gainer, as road levers pull less cable than MTB ones. Hope that helps

I had a formula caliper mated to a hope lever, work very well.

Crank bolts? I’m assuming you mean chain ring bolts. Are they single ring specific? Use a touch of loctite on each

Met mine in the skylark in south Croydon. She was under age and I was only just legal! Mutual friend sort of (her cousin is one of my best mates) saw her and fell in love almost immediately! 6 years ago, still going strong

just do away with the pin.

i “make” my own cassettes by breaking a few apart to get the ratio i want. i never replace the pins and never had a problem

just out of interest, but why dont you want to use a half link?? it may be a cheep and easy solution to your problem.

i had this problem a few years back, i changed chain and cassette (cost a few ££) all to be solved buy a 99p half link!!

The older style LX levers had a adjustable pull ratio thing built in to the lever! If you have a spare v’ee brake lever I would suggest that you try it out.

oneoneoneone, what age did you start driving a car? (assuming that you did), not sure what age I learnt about gallons but I’ve certainly known what they are since I started driving. (I’m 24 too)

i got my licence when i was 17. i knew it was a measurement of liquid, that was about it. i had other things to worry about at that time!! 😉

So if I offer you 16 pints of beer or 8 litres which would you prefer

either, all the same to me. but a pint does sound better

my dad didnt know what a gallon was and he is 45ish??

im 24 and i didnt know until i asked my grandad.

why would kids get taught about gallons? its a unused measurement that is only used my the motor industry (publicly)

Also i care about fuel economy. as well as giving it some “beans”

if any of you have kids around 16-24 and ask them what a gallon is.

i know its 8 pints which is about 4 litres.
