Thanks spokes, thought as much and would sir being myself be needing the chainring bolts aswell to do a double ring/bash kind of setup?

Yes, it does take a 135mm rear wheel and I ''was'' measuring bb length at 90mm including outer of raceface bbracket.

Bike is a Rocky M'tn Slayer with a Raceface Deus xc chainset fitted.

    SO guessing standard 68mm/73mm size?
Just measured the bb and from outer to outer is approx 90mm.

    thanks so far 🙂

I might of thought so, but how do I check and make sure the one marked 170mm 68mm/73mm will fit my current setup and not the 100mm chainline one?

I'm guessing the old style frames are 100mm chainline spacing.?

    thanks

For once, it's the correct size frame with the right sort of seatpost amount on show being showed on this forum except for mine of course 😉

Try 8months and a few days for an xtr chainset.

    NOT GOOD!

Doubt it, but bear in mind that 661 kit is really bulky on weight etc.

Looks ok to me, what more you want for £40 odd.

    S#ite would spring to mind.

Funny that, i bumped and bruised my cocyx on the ht the other day and wish I had had the full sus out for that one moment.

I'm actually going from ht to full suss but more importantly try to get a balance between the two.

    Odd that!

Cheers for the info guys, will probably be the last resort kind of thing unless I find something elsewhere.

Interesting he was using a different user name to sway people's opinion to think kaetec. Very off putting imo.

#edit# @ Munqe-chick, – That's the thing though, the after sales support is what's playing havoc with my decision as he claims the performance set lasts upto 5years, I mean really, maybe they will but will need removing and repacking with grease surely?

Thanks peachos and skyliner, – Will do, am on the case.

Onza, it does state on the outer seal 6044 and have been informed the lbs's round my way don't hold stock of them as it's not a common size to use.

    Interesting?

Anyone know of any places that stock 6044's and can deliver sharpish!?

    Zippy? 🙂

You should of got an early Slayer 😉

I would probably be tempted to do what spokecycles mentions.
    Worth a go no?

    Done now.

Had to have a punch used on it to push the end caps out and off to get to the bearings.

thanks Peachos for your initial help.

Without trying to add to the SUDDEN influx of On-one questions of late.

Just want to know before my Bro bites the bullit.

As for the bag of coal, is it really that time of the year again. 8)

Aye up, I ran low riser Eastons with stubby bar ends on, it looked just acceptable imho.

    Worked a treat aswell. 😀

Maybe because they are race products before you start slating the manufacture of them. 🙄

Without trying to sound like I'm getting at you. 😐

Are awesome no doubt, as for pedal inserts coming loose, I'm heavy and they have been so far good but only real long term 'core use will tell.

Oh and the ceramic bearings make all the difference imo.

    😀

Trouble is, I have had 1 ride on it so far.

Mind you it had 2 seasons on/off use on it before I got it but will be sorted out no doubt.

Thanks folks for the advice and info.

Honestly thought it would of been doable to swap to new bearings. Oh well, looks like a fairly nice hub aswell for stock kit.

    🙂

I've looked on the website, cannot see diddly squat.

RM don't even supply Silverfish with the bearings or spares for their own components.

    🙄

    Typical!

    #EDIT#

I have been trawling google searches for RM 20mm hub spares etc etc but to no avail.

The actual will probably be 0.9" less than the measurement for effective no? But does differ from frame to frame of course.

Thanks for that peachos, – I'm not doubting it's an easy job with the sort of hub that allows for swapping of bearings.

Just that the cap spacers won't budge even after trying to tap out.

As for the axle idea, I have not tried that but really cannot see it happening.

Really want to know what the rectangular shape gap inside the centre of hub is there for ❓

It's an actual Rocky mountain carbon hub.

No, mainly because I do not know what size it requires for a new set until I get the old set out.

    Hope this clarifies.

They'll be fine but to get the trail, you should really have a sweet spot fork at 120mm.

Why did this warrant another new thread btw?
A few Whyte 19 owners including myself posted up info and pics on your last thread on Whyte 19 trail.

    Anything else whilst I'm here?

As someone who couldn't be arsed with knowing the weight of the new 5 must say that's pretty damn impresive at 28lbs all in say with pedals and heavier alloy bars and post say.

Plus why go get a white coloured bike for frame like everyone else especially when it's meant to be ORANGE! 😉

Looking swish as a freshly machined NYC pimp. 😆

That's uber awesome, plus he dropped an x-up in for show 8)

    NICE!

    Where is this btw?

    onceinalifetime

The main thing with the 19 trail is it's great geometry. 😀
Sleek lines, stays and of course the useful dropouts as well as the subtleness of the branding on my one. 8) 😛

Also, you can hang off any type of kit off the frame, ranging from quality xc light to heavier cheaper kit aswell.

The all up weight is absurdly light bearing in mind, I have fairly light kit dripping off it.

Need to get it up to Scotland some month – sooner rather than later 😉 .

The BB30 also makes a noticeable difference, especially with the carbon cranks and OMG, the ceramic bb bearings are just simply blindingly good on mine.

    Any specific questions? shoot! 🙂

Dibbs, is that another Ti trail there I see before my screen ❓

For starters, wtf are you thinking of paying £600odd for a bike trailer.

You buy a trailer from halfords for £200 or so and have change to buy a Speccy hardrock or whatever.

    Madness!

But yes I would be absolutely peaving up the walls for a minute or two.

    NAME & SHAME please.

I'd go along with what ZIppy mentions.

My hopes went through the same phase for a ride or two and seem to be all good so far.

Saw one in Noahs ark and the bb was gouged into by something that looked like a chainring, not good for a bike they were selling and getting interest in as a new brand.

Was uber nice as the branding was not qoros, it was ''legaro'' meaning lightweight so I was told. Welds look clean and was in satin finish and looks the nuts.

Plus their Ti stems are a work of art and are trail worthy iirc.

Would of bought one if I hadn't had a Merlin already. 😛

Good stuff I'd say, not sure on pricing now though.
