I found cracks in my Flyer last night 😐

so I’m in a similar position.

what’s wrong with the Cinelli? I’m considering it

Now correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t you mean the trail that lies just the other side of a little gate, where there has been some felling in recent years? as well as earlier this winter?

You didn’t exactly hang about given the conditions. Congrats on your 6th place out of 19 this year.

Wrightyson – I really don’t think it’s done that badly given how wet it’s been since mid-Oct and how many people are using it on strava. I have noticed some of the corners getting straighter on the middle climb up to trig point last summer. Not sure where else you could mean. It’s not exactly smooth and flowing up there in perfectly dry conditions, and the difficult terrain attracts some of the finest riders in the country.

I’ve reversed my b screw to get my x0 mech to sit far enough away from my mx3 42t cog for best shifting. The chain derailed pedalling backwards in 42t until it wore in. I’m waiting for some spacers to arrive so I can adjust chainline by 1 or 2mm. Running absolute black 34t oval n/w ring and used 4 links overlap

both of ours spent their first couple of years in our bed. I didn’t lose any sleep with #2 and only the odd half hour with #1.

I’d second what FMC said about being at it’s best in the peak district. I ran mine with a 150 Rev which was fine but it took a 160/130 pike for me to get the best out of it. Bearing and bushing replacement is certainly a lot easier than on my current bike

i have a zee mech that does the same. the clunk is coming from the clutch. It’s better when it’s not engaged, but not eliminated.

i tried a 2.35″ DD on the front for a big ride in november and the occasional improved performance in deep mud wasn’t enough to offset the weight (DH, wire bead) and poor rolling resistance. I hurt for days

I’ve dragged my 4yo up the climbs around the family loops at Grizedale and CyB with one of those microscooter straps, probably less than a metre long. I usually have to drop my saddle for some stability.

Dyfi was spectacular again. We snuck round early doors. Shame I missed you. I am worn out today. Had to push most climbs. Anyone want to buy a Dirty Dan?

I’m ashamed and embarrassed to have persevered with Endura for so long

overshoes lasted 3 rides before zips went
2 x singletrack II shorts gone at the crotch
1 x small tights gone at the crotch, zips gone
1 x liner short gone at the arse cheek
1 x humvee shorts gone at the waist fasteners
1 x small tights literally twice the size of the previous small tights
1 x MTR gloves came apart on index finger after 3 months
