Bow weight is measured in pounds at a measured draw length, as the farther you draw it the more weight you’re pulling. So mine’s “38@28” – at a 28 inch draw you’re holding 38lbs. IIRC, you add or remove 2lbs for every inch you draw over or under (though thinking about it, surely that varies with draw weight?

    My own bow specs –

    Draw Weight: 185 lbs
    Speed: 365+ fps
    Power Stroke: 14″
    Bow Weight 6.20 lbs
Compact Design: 19″ Uncocked and 15.5″ Cocked

Its frightening how far a field tip can penetrate 8O

Yep – I got the BB shell is 100mm. What I’m trying to find out is the spindle length required to get the right chainline. I’ve seen versions from 142 – 164 mm

Ah, that I couldn’t tell you – sorry!

The bags are ace, they do let dirt out if you put manky shoes in them though

Haven’t dreamed up a use for them yet. Thought they might be good for helmet/glove storage :-)

Absolutely cracking little light, got mine a couple of weeks ago. Its not huge (but its not tiny either) It’s plenty bright, took a bit of getting used to as the light isn’t concentrated into as narrow a beam as im used to (riding with more run of the mill bike torches). Think floodlight rather than torch light. Centre of the beam is nice and bright. Great battery life too I’ve not managed to drain it yet on 2 hour plus rides. Brilliant for off road, clamp is nice and stable on the bars (no helmet mount included), but there are a few things that could be improved in my opinion, the main one for me would br the battery leads, they would be better if they were coiled to stop slack wafting about. It’s not a commuting light, even aimed downward and close (say 10/15 feet) road users will hate you, the spread of light is still utterly blinding so an extended hood would be handy, and the mode switch is a push button on the rear of the unit, it’s back lit led green, and it’s seriously bright so while you can’t fail to find it, it can be a little distracting, but really I’m nit picking here. All in all its incredible value I’m very happy with it

    Plus 1 – great light :-)

I get mine done (MC accident, left leg 1 1/8″ shorter) through our local orthotics dept. Very important to do this unless you want to run the risk of curvature of the spine 8O No cost, just a couple of weeks wait for turnaround. SPD shoes are a little more complicated, needing a spacer manufactured to bring the cleat out :-)

Just collect it if it’s only 11.5 miles away.

Many a time, after suffering the automated system and selected collect have I rocked up at the local (Bristol) depot only to be told ‘its out for delivery’ 8O

Any from Apple on this thread?

Yes – Took out my dire Beats solo ear speakers at dialysis one day, plugged them into the telly – Nada  They were out of the warranty by a couple of months (Purchased from EE) so on my way home I popped into the shop of Apple. Told the assistant that they’d kicked up their heels and as Beats had been bought by Apple I came in to ask what the repair process was going to be. Informed me I’d need to post them off. At this point I kinda grimaced at the thought of no hp util whenever and happened to mention they’d had an easy life as they are only ever used at hospital. She shoots off for a minute then comes back saying that due to what I use them for, they are going to open up a box & swap them for a new pair! Well chuffed, even though you’ll get better sound quality out of anything around the £50 mark.
