My MkII Golf got done in a rather unsavoury part of bristol one day. Apart from my Blaupunkt slide mount and about £100 worth of CD’s, they took….. A three pack of mint flavoured Durex with one left! 8O W the actual f??

Obviously upset a keen golfer judging by the bat embedded in the windscreen. Bit of T-Cut & all that

Can you get those accugage jobs somewhere that isn’t Jenson? Is there a uk source?

You can pick them up on eBay but even then they ship from the states. Worth the wait though imo :-)

No glamour shots and its ‘only’ an O-o but I love it. Haven’t touched the 456 since I got it and would be more than happy with this as my only ride :D

That my friend is effing fantastic! Props to you! When I was a tech for VW we used to PDI the new ambulances. There ‘may’ have been a few blues & twos moments down the M32 into Bristol. Went well as I remember :-)

I thought the mini’s had a rear mounted bike carrier that mounts onto bespoke chassis mounts so no need for a tow bar? A guy at work’s wife has one and has shown me a photo of his wife’s mini with such a rack. Probably not the cheapest option but at least you don’t have to faff dismantling your bike.

This is true but the car had to have ‘rack preparation’ at the factory when it was born. I need to try & get the fat bike in the back of my F55… 8O

That’d be like having skimmed milk in your cuppa Go full fat or go home imo
The OP is talking about “full fat” 4″ tyres, but on a 27.5″ rim

And I’m just saying – if you want fat tyres, get a fat bike – 26″ FTW

Antibiotics. No amount of Tramadol is going to touch it (Have plenty, I tried!) 2 paracetamol then two hours later 2 ibuprofen. Repeat and keep on top of it. Only the dentist is going to prescribe for this one. I feel her pain. What use are nerves in teeth anyway ffs?? 8O

Shouldn’t you try talking to him first?

I will of course try this first but I don’t rate its chances of securing a decent outcome. I don’t think hell be that kind of person

Not sure if he’s bought the place or rented it from the previous owner. He’s always at home (I know this as I’m at home also bar when I’m at dialysis 3 times a week) so theres no excuse as far as I can see to be so cruel to his dog. Im considering firing up the Naim and giving him a taste of his own medicine in the wee small hours. Never met the guy (yet) but the fist/face interface is sounding favourable atm

Can’t remember exactly what it was something has rotated where it shouldn’t have and its now knackered.

That’ll be the bearing shells in the crank. May get away with a crank regrind & os bearings. Depends. A short motor is probably going tone quicker though. Desperate for it?
