“It just quietly does what it does” What in the hell does that mean? Do you work for apple marketing?
I have both android and apple phones.
I prefer the adroid becasue it “just does it” (or is that some other company’s marketing tag line…?)…

Lol! Just an Apple/iPhone fan. My experience of Android phones was never a happy one! iOS just works. I have NEVER had to turn off my iPhone (or in the case of Android had to remove the battery!) because the OS decided to take a dump on me! Each to their own :D

Pah hard to see why you’d pay the premium for the 7 when the 6 is more than enough for most or alternatively there are plenty of other companies making great phones at nothing like these inflated prices.

They’re not iOS though, It just quietly does what it does & doesn’t create a fuss. Android however…..

A shady garage / driver would disconnect/remove the warning lights and then take it for the test. Sadly I know this as I bought a car from a in hindsight dodgy guy who had done just this with the airbag warning light as the bag had gone off and not been replaced.

As above it’s a fail and you need to get it looked at.

Then it would still fail as the light has to operate correctly – i.e., Illuminate at ignition switch on & then extinguish. (VTS authorised examiner & nominated tester)

Don’t get me wrong, they do produce some lovely looking bikes – but do you ever pay! I’ve had a ‘Dale in my time and it was a great bike but it was bought from someone else who took the initial ‘hit’!

Do you guys not think that Cannonade trade a lot on their name rather than the quality of their bikes? It seems to me that if you can leave behind brand snobbery you can find a much better specced bike for half the money elsewhere. Just an observation, not wanting to start owt! :D

Those torchy lights are pretty interesting, they’re obviously not driving the XMLs at full power- you wouldn’t get that much battery life from a 6600 pack if it was, and besides, it’d probably go on fire. But maybe 7 XMLs run soft is more efficient than 3 or 4 run hard?

My 6 cell pack is 7200mAh

I have the Torchy 7even but haven’t been out with it yet. Great build quality and a nice guy to deal with (Jim). Went with the 6 cell battery pack. 4h @ 3300 lumens for £79???, be rude not to! Expect some hash of a write up and some pictures when I get it out on the fatty :D

At the Little Stoke roundabout in Bristol, heading towards Bradley Stoke Its 2 lanes as you come off the roundabout. Theres a pedestrian crossing about 2 car lengths in. Often when I’m waiting at the lights some idiot will drive up by the side of me, knowing full well theres only about 20 meters left of the lane that they are in. If they try and boot it to overtake me, I will do the same  I made some idiot in a 335 regret this not so long ago

All of mine used to be calibrated every year – along with Tyre inflator, feeler gauges, Micrometers, vernier, steel rules, tread depth gauge ( 8O ) The only one that was ever lobbed back off the van with disgust was a £20 Clarke item I had when I started in the motor trade – ‘wildly inaccurate’ was the report!! Cant recommend Norbar enough :-)

The 90s wanted their product back, this happens when 26 years later 12 people in the world still hanker for something thats relatively surpassed by a 29 quid crank from shimano.
there’s loads of hifi from that period that you would still be very hard pushed to beat, particulary if you looked at the usual Jap stuff.

awesome. someone tell linn. i have a bit of their kit at home they won’t even look at because it’s over ten years old.
that’s Linn, but Quad (now Chinese) still look at their old stuff.

The point is that if the British Hifi indistry had the support it deserved back then it would be in a lot better place now.

Lots of people have kit still working from that era (the power amp I am running at the moment I bought in the early 90s) which represents exceptional value for money.

    Naim FTW!! CD3 ,72, Hi-Cap, 250 here. Im sure it’ll outlive me! :D
