I think I may have spotted a multipack of those in Poundland. I didn’t buy them as the pack seemed ‘lighter than air’, such is the way in Poundland…

My G100 is still working after ten years but constant dunkings in the bike wash bucket rotted the many nylon straps that I used to replace the cracked original, and recently the bezel cracked to the point of it disintegrating. I was able to source a replacement bezel for £13. I’ve changed the battery for the first time as the display was starting to dim. Apart from the neobrite markings dimming slightly it’s survived what I do to it suprisingly well. All in all if you want a watch to take some abuse and have big hands that are easily legible the G100 is (mostly) what you want, anything more is just a pose IMO.

Humane traps? FFS! these are rats! If you want rid of them use the proper steel backbreaker traps.

Is there any ‘chocolate’ left in a Wispa? And as it had something to do with the olympic team I won’t have anyhting to do with it.

Back on topic. Perhaps Germany and France may be able to create a ‘Hard’ euro for the northern EU, but the euro as we know it is toast. The question is how long will it take, and how much will be wasted trying to w*nk off this dead dog?

But they do have problems with mulit-year droughts and the wildlife is more dangerous than that in the UK. Oh, and don’t forget the aussie Blairette who has just saddled the nation with a ruinous carbon tax.

Germany was only able to sell 60% of it’s euro bonds. The market is up 39 points. They won’t let a little thing like a collapse in confidence get in the way of their dead cat bounce…

And hopefully the weather will be in your favour. If it isn’t (howling gale, snow on the top, or scorching sun) don’t bother.

I would’ve thought that a sensitive throttle and a slightly more powerful motor would be the answer. So the rider has to be reasonably fit and not a lardbucket?…

Like the UK the spanish electorate punished the incumbent ‘socialist’ govt.

Now they are going to learn the hard way about ideologically driven spending cuts, an increased ‘War Against the Poor’, stagflation….

Yes, those same skint councils can spurt away money on town centre chr*stm*s lights, there to prompt the drool-jawed into a consumerist frenzy that benefits the shopkeepers and the foreign economies supplying the goods that people neither need nor can afford…

Well there is a difference between a planned redundancy and taking the opprtunity of someone being injured in the line of duty in order to give them the heave-ho.

I don’t get why the Germans haven’t just told everyone to eff off already.

Because the EU is as much a political project as an economic one, though there is talk of a smaller group of ‘hard’ euro countries with even greater integration the truth is that if the euro splits so does the EU political project.

And we now know that though it was possible to set up camp in Tahrir Square when the Egyptian police state was at it’s worst, it isn’t possible to do that in the UK because our police state is so much more effecient, and has better PR.

The UK spring is on permanent hold…
