The N7.2 doesn’t have an SD port. I doubt if the the N10.2 will either.

Are you sure it’s not malware or junk files? You can download file cleaners to sweep away all the gunk. It might even be a rubbish browser.

My God! STW has gone so far up its upper-middle class chuff that there is a thread about The Servant Problem!

It should be OK but… be aware of the utter PITA that the N7 is to to mount external media ie: USB or SD card back up, is. You can use Nexus Media Importer/Exporter and an OTG cable, but frankly, why should you have to? Google/Asus should provide both external media support as part of the OS without having to use an third-party app, AND A FRICKING USB OR SD PORT! grrrrrr… Oh, and you can’t connect the N7 to your TV with a cable…

I find it ironic that this happens on the same day that GTA is released.

If it looks like a duck, and swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck…

As for the bedroom tax, Frankie Boyle said quite rightly, “It isn’t a tax, it’s a punishment.”

So legislate for the use of biodegradable plastic. But that doesn’t grab healines or extract money from shoppers…

The conduct of many cycling ‘fans’ on mountain stages never ceases to enrage me. How many attacks are thwarted before they begin due to window of opportunity being blocked by flag waving morons spilling out onto the road? They wouldn’t be allowed to interfere with the event by encroaching onto the arena in any other sport so why should cycling be any different?

Carrier bags from large retailers. I’d be surprised if the tory right allowed this to pass unchallanged.

Lidl used to sell a poncho/groundsheet on their ‘special’ outdoor gear promotions. I’ve not seen one for over a year so I don’t know if they still do them.

I’m not so much a fan of his more modern stuff but I have to admit Mercy Seat is a powerful song.

I have to say that I’ve not looked at a bike magazine or catalogue for many-a-year. That sort of thing just doesn’t get the juices flowing anymore.

And at least the likes of ALDI and Lidl don’t have an irritating ‘Jeremy Kyle’ soundtrack. I would have stayed in my local ASDA and perhaps bought more, but due to the uncouth din of ASDA FM I turned around and walked out.

You can get the down recycled into a new gilet. There are specialist outdoor tailors who do that sort of thing.

If the figures are correct it’s a bad sign that we’ve not kicked our property speculation habit or realised the damage that it does to the real economy.

Look in your local Tesco extra. They had some offers going but I didn’t pay attention to them.

The best way of hiding the truth is to well and truly muddy the waters around it. This I fear has happend. Just as with the events of Roswell, if those with something to hide can seed false theories and evidence in the truth movement, they can ofbscurate the issue beyond any hope of a rational enquiry.

And 9/11? The official ‘truth’ and what really happened are different.

No doubt the scallies have already found a way of cracking the fingerprint lock.

There are many reasons not to buy one. The fact it is an Apple product being by far the greatest.

Increased packet sizes? If anything the size of what you get for your money has shrunk dramatically in the last few years. It’s just the artful packaging (fewer crisps in the same sized flow wrap bag for example) that misleads people, as it was meant to.

This from my father, a wise yokel, in a recent conversation. “They always go on about New York, but you never see programmes about the Pentagon. It’s as if they don’t want to draw attention to it like they’ve something to hide.”

Typical massaged govt BS figures. It’s been this way since the mid-eighties. It’s far easier to prentend there isn’t a problem, or that you’ve ‘solved’ it and blame the poor for being poor, than it is to address the issues and make real ‘hard choices’.

Fattism is really more of a problem for the person who holds fattist views. Such a judgemental attitude is a reflection of their own insecurity directed agains other people that they deem ‘unworthy’.

When fattism becomes state policy, that’s when you should become concerned. Meanwhile, my local concil wants to know what people think is a healthy weight. Why?

Thinking more about this it’s my opinion that Apple have both confused their offering with so many models and done their ‘premium’ image some damage by introducing cheaper versions.

Consider wearing more layers, as well as draughtproofing, insulation, and those stick-on ‘triple glazing’ kits. And do it now, not when the cold begins to bite and everyone is scurrying to do the same thing.
