I wonder if it wouldn’t be possible to create an adjustable wheel that could be wound in or out to the required size, with the tyre and tube stretching to accommodate?

Well with NuLab reverting to type, promising yet another Crack Down on alcohol, smoking, and ‘unheaithy’ food in their manifesto kite flying, they are bound to try and divert attention away from themselves. They ought to be in with a chance of winning, given what the ConDems have done, but typically they’ll snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I’m due for an ultrasound scan at my local hospital. When, I don’t know. I handed the form in at the correct reception and asked for an appointment to be made. Despite my various contact details being supplied on the form I have yet to hear from them ten days after. If nothing heard by tuesday I will get on to them again.

In this interconnected world wouldn’t it be a simple thing for the doctor to book me an appointment from their desk as I was sitting by it?

Two years for the offences, six years for being Max Clifford.

Now he’s been convicted, his victims will be claiming damages…

What do the war dead have to do with the right to vote? They didn’t willingly die for some notion of democracy, they were conscripted sacrifices for the greater gains of the political class that controlled them.

I’ve voted in most elections over the last thirty years. The more I see of the political process, the more I’m convinced that the only solution involves certain heads being skewered on poles.

That ought to damage Cameron beyond repair, but of course it won’t.

But standing in and voting for elections implies an acceptance of the legitimacy of the status quo. As I don’t accept the legitmacy of the EU or the UK’s membership of it, I won’t participate in it.

Not forgetting that it probably breaches the Slavery and Servitude Act 2010, the Human Rights Act, and the precedent that coerced labour violates the ECHR.

I’m so surprised that this day hasn’t been as commercialised as all the other national days… but then, that may be a bit too outgoing for we reticent brits.

And there I was thinking that this would be a parody of the latest nanny state propaganda correlating the rise in alcohol price with a fall in A&E visits involeving violent alcohol related crime…
