Don’t discount the workplace stress caused to people subjected to unwanted listening. You can look away from an unpleasant sight but you can’t hear away from an uncouth noise.

Yes I’m serious. I know; for I was that soldier…

A complaint to the police, or possibly a civil action or injunction on the grounds of nuisance? Maybe just the threat would get them to drop you like a hot coal?

Don’t even describe those limp-wristed, nanny state, ‘elf ‘n safety, weedy pastiches of Monster Munch as The Real Thing! Those of us alive in the Seventies can only look and weep at what one of our icons has become.

Lack of a front facing camera (for video calls) on the E? Though some will see the lack of a camera as a bonus, saving the need to tape it over.

Of course having ‘bombed IS into submission’ there’s no reason why the US won’t continue and bomb Assad until their plan for the region is forfilled.

As for Miliband; I wonder if elements in his party aren’t considering a short, sharp coup shortly after the conference is over?

I wonder what tangible evidence was introduced in this case. Surely it boiled down to her word against his? I’m surprised, and concerned that could be a basis for conviction. I’d certainly expect an appeal.

The news stations, and esoecially the BBC, like to go into overload on a big story. Remember the death of Nelson Mandela?

Now who are the albaphobes going to vent their spleen against?

    ohnohesback

Yes and no. But it won’t happen. All this is mere hot air to placate the restless regions, the govt will just allow time to pass and do nothing; or maybe as a token grant some responsibilities with neither thr funding nor control of the services to support them.

The reason why the Westminster elite were bricking themselves was the prospect of losing Scotland’s oil reserves as collateral for the UK treasury borrowing. Up until that point they were perfectly content for the Scots to rubber stamp the status quo.

Let’s see how ‘max’ the devo is. It will most likely be the responsibility without the funding or control.

We can but hope Westminster suffers a smugness overload. The buggers are going to be even more insufferable for the next few days.

Oh the champers will be gushing like a highland torrent today, “Great work chaps! The McOiks swallowed it again! And we made a mint from that little market wobble we set up…As soon as the fuss has died down we’ll really show them who’s in charge… HOORAY!”
