Carlos,if you look at the lower jockey wheel of some eagle mechs they have a different profile to the older version.I need a new GX eagle mech so wanted to ensure i bought the latest version.
My brother owns one which is straight and has been trouble free.I spent a Sunday morning on it when I was in between bikes (as it were) and it was great. So much more forgiving than my ally HT and a bit of a looker. In fact, ever since that ride I’m fighting the impulse buy a steel HT myself.
We share similar dimensions and a M/L Aeris 120 is a perfect fit.If you were to find it a tad long(I’m confident you wont) you could fit a shorter stem.
I have a 28T front ring that was fitted to a raceface aeffect crankset that is for sale if you go the smaller front route. It’s an AB oval in red.Forgot i had it until this moment.
My Shimano AM7’s are stiff but ok to walk in.They don’t have the sticky soles of other brands but conversely are easier to change foot position while pedaling.Got them super cheap too.
just bought this off the seller featured.Same stuff been on my Bird for over three years and still going strong.I did wonder if the later tape would be of the same quality as my former purchase and happy to say it is.Applied with heat gun.
Cube hardtails are great,I have an extrememly lightweight ally bike,XT throughout and stepcast forks all for £1300.Not a bit of bother with it.The ally version is a little lighter than the exact bike in carbon so went for the ally version obviously.
