I was given a tin of tyre cement by a friend who worked for ATS.I dip the valve in the cement then fit it to the rim after it has started to become sticky.
A couple of weeks ago i damaged a sidewall and had to pump the tyre up a few times to get home and in doing so realised that the valve nut wasn’t really tight though remained leak free.
The reason i started down this road some years ago was because of similar probs to the OP.

As been mentioned,check that the gearbox sprocket it tight on the splines.My wifes Hornet developed a similar problem and it was slightly worn splines that accelerated wear on the sprocket.A genuine honda sprocket along with some stud lock helped mask the issue.

Hi,the shimano docs say that the teeth of the largest sprocket should line up with the white line on the cage,not the smallest.That is how i have my b screw set up.

My XT 12s mech works on a 5010 V3 though the b screw is just barely on the hanger.However,so far it has been easy to set up and trouble free.
