Yep, looks like it’s exceeded its google maps usage limit

“You have exceeded your request quota for this API.”

Normally has a switch for osm maps but can’t see it at the moment, guess it’ll will reset in a while.

Thanks @Daern she’s a bit taller/older than that (but handy info for my sons next bike!)

I think she’s about 152cm/5ft so at the small women’s rather than tall children’s sizing? the Whyte was a 47cm frame

I seem to remember just bolting the extension over the last mount – I’ve not got mine anymore to check though, but looks that way from an image search

Are the hope rims any good? I’d heard they weren’t as good as the stans rims for tubeless?

    some pics here – https://www.granddesigns.tv/peak-district/

Seems a bit of weird episode, spend 800k but cant afford a few grand for finishes (except for his office…), meant to be eco but no eco features (or not shown anyway bar the window shutters), no film of large parts of the 2nd half of the build.

Looks good from the outside, but the layout and interior finish appear to be rubbish for the money.

I really struggle to see how it cost so much money…

Honda civic, had a intermittent fault (with no fault codes) that Dealer has said they (think) have fixed but wanted to log stuff just in case it happens agains.

    1978 VW Derby (1988)
1982 Volvo 343 (1991 easily the worst car ever owned!)
1971 Mini Clubman estate – hand painted, had bits of fridge welded to the floor (1992 bought when the volvo blew up)
1972 VW Camper (1993 paid £100 quid lots of welding and an exhaust to get it on the road)
here beginneth several years of mini craziness in no particular order:
    2 more Mini Clubman estates
    2 Standard 1970/80s Minis
    1 1970s Clubman
1963 Mini – totally restored 1310cc alloys etc
    1969 Clubman saloon 1275GT spec
    1972 Australian spec Mini Moke
    3 Mini Marcos including:

1996 VW polo (2000 very boring)
2001 BMW Mini Cooper (2001 lovely car – impractical once you have kids and bikes…)
    (2003 – bought a bicycle, first since 1985)
    2006 Citroen C4 (2006 till now, it’s only done 60k miles)
made up for lack of cars with bikes in the last 8 years…

Other half is currently trying an adamo saddle getting on well so far, she had a Specialized Windie which was OK – compared to ‘normal’ blokes saddles which she described as like being hit in the **** with a hammer repeatedly…

Salsa Vaya I’d considered but nobody seems to be selling the frameset.
Trek 920 is a new one on me – but similarly I was after a frame rather than a full bike

not a great fan of the horizontal dropouts on the Cotic – I found them a pain on my old pompetamine when it came removing the rear wheel with rack+guards fitted

I like the look of the tripster atr – too spendy for me though, I’m 6ft so 54 is too small for me which is a shame.

    From http://www.everesting.cc/the-rules/

Please note that units such as the Garmin Edge 500 will reset if plugged in mid-ride. Not cool. The workaround is to find an OTE micro USB cable (look it up, they only cost a few bucks). This cable has a pin removed which ‘tricks’ the unit into ‘thinking’ that it isn’t actually plugged in. Test it beforehand, but trust us – it works. Also good for charging your phone on alternate laps (#protips).

the VM super hubs do not accurately record bandwidth – it’s a ‘known’ problem http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Up-to-30Mb-Setup-Equipment/Super-Hub-reports-huge-usage-figures-for-Session-Data-Downloaded/td-p/2084844

–edit though I may have misread the OPs problem…

no problems here – it’s a pretty boring update though, I don’t think I’ve used any of the new ‘features’.

It’s £400 for a course and you happen to produce a bike at the end of it…. spending 400 quid on just a balance bike would be daft

I bought some ‘Vortex Prescription Sports Glasses’ from spex4less, cost me 90 quid which do the job quite nicely – look a bit dorky with clear lenses but I mostly ride at night anyway ;)

Yeah they can feel a bit flexy – on my xtracycle with 2 kids on the back it never felt solid enough to stand up and stomp but you soon get used to changing gear a bit more, but the choice of donor makes a fair bit of difference – a friend has an xtra built on a Marin Rocky Ridge and it’s a far stiffer bike

Saying that mine was built on a Trek 7300fx hybrid and I snapped it…

What size p7 frame do you currently have?

    It’s a 19″

I replaced mine with a BFe

Yeah I looked at the BFe instead of the Soul – but I think it was my wallet thinking, I’m not really gnar enough to justify the BFe.

    Ogg

    Hmm no other choices then?
    The Soul is very tempting…

    Ogg
    Full Member

Why, if you like it enough to replace it with the same?

I fancy a change and if I get a new one I’d like it to be more compatible with dropper posts and modern running gear.

    Ive a carbon 456 in the classified…

    Too small for me.
