did some looking about, seems that WD one is one of the few options, the list price is £99 so £69.99 is pretty good.

Free home delivery too. The 1tb ones i found are external power supplied or the portable ones are into the £130 range.

Unfortunetly it has to be USB powered, it's going around the world on board his ship and space/weight is a premium so can't carry a mains charger/plug adapters etc etc everywhere.

In the real world how much slower are they ?

That Western Digital one looks alright, there is a PC world just down the road from me too….

Agreed, try turning the ignition on twice before firing the car up, it will put two heat cycles through, if it then starts OK it's the plugs. If after doing it twice (or three times) and it's still not starting it'll be something else. Is there any noise when trying to start it etc?

I've got an old Escort Diesel i use for lugging stuff around with sometimes, i filled the tank a while back right to the very top – fuel nearly coming out kind of full and got 730 miles out of it before i needed to fill up :D

    Diesel's are great!

Only if some sad pathetic excusse for a human being decides they have nothing better to do one day and program one. But what's it going to infect anyway ? The PS3's systems are more secure than anything – hence why after 3 years it still hasn't been hacked.

No, the PS3 has it's own operating system different from Windows, MAC etc so you won't get a virus.

And how exactly would hard braking damage the ESP…?

Most garages that do MOT's do so with the use of a rolling road, the car doesn't move anywhere.

Carbon is expensive at the momment partly due to Airbus. The A380 is made from carbon to reduce weight to a *will actually take off level*, but now Airbus are trying to save more weight on the whole aircraft to save fuel and reduce costs (makes sense if you ask me) So as seen in the pic above they are using it for anything they can and taking up a lot of resources in the process. It will get worse too as Boeing are to begin production of the new superliner soon i believe which will take up more resources.

Went into Vodaphone today, decided to wait till Monday for the Storm 2 :D Cracking thing it is, new screen is brilliant. It has everything though GPRS, Wifi, 3G so i should be sorted!

How long does it take to load gmail on GRRS ebygomm ?

I know the Blackberry has 3G so does that sort that ? As i said all i want to do is check my gmail account whilst out and about etc – it's not exactly a big webpage and facebook which is slightly bigger.

Im looking at £20 a month for unlimted internet usage, unlimited texts and 600 mins.

I can't see why i would use the phone at home for interent, i have two pc's a PS3 and a PSP which has wifi but if im honest only 1 pc gets used out of all those items….

Got the same letter, simple solution – swap your account to the "reward account"

If you put in £1000 per month you get £5 a month from them – £60 a year. So i went and opened 3 accounts with them…. £180 a year for doing nothing… You don't need to put a lump sum of £1000 in at one go, for example you can put £100 in 10 times etc. Once it's done you can take the money back out of the account it only needs to be in for 30 seconds :D

FYI i drive through France/Germany/Spain every 3/4 weeks and never fitted any light bits to the car or carried the required stuff. Can't say i've ever had a problem in doing so.

I did it over the phone, asked for my email addy and was told i would need to reply to activate it. Went into branch later today to sign forms for the other 3 accounts i opened at the same time so it should be OK…

Crikey! I thought i was the only one around the area…

I work in Bathgate, i wouldn't live there it's no where near as bad as some of the other places like Shotts or Armodale etc but not really great either, full of badly educated (or not at all it would seem , obese Scots/ no offence lads) There are some nice houses out the back of it though just up from my workshop but i believe they are rather expensive. I live in Kirknewton now which is just about perfect for my needs.

Why would cleats designed for one system and maker fit another pedal of completely different design ? I'll just go use some diesel in my petrol car next time…

No they won't fit, why would you want to use them anyway ?

I've got the Carbon/Ti version now, had the Cro/mo and Carbon version before. I love them, great entry and exit. I wouldn't recommend them if you are a goone who can't take 5 mintues to read up on the shim instructions…

FYI you can get 20 degree cleats to make them a bit clickier if the 15 dgree one isn't enough.

Great shock, i've ridden it back to back with a RP23 and defo prefer the Monarch. 2010 should see a lot of them coming stock on new bikes, Santa Cruz now use them.

Funny this…. Just spent this afternoon fixing one at work!

Low revs it was OK but if you booted it the thing was belching out black smoke. Turned out to be dirty injectors which is an easy enough fix – not too costly.

Although it could really be a number of things, fuel pump could be up the creak which is costly to replace, the injectors might be wrecked, there are too many possibilities.

Take it down to a Diesel specialist if there is one in the area. Alternatively bring it to me :D

I do mine every few days to be honest. Then again i use the industrial steam cleaner i have at the garage so washing a car takes all of about 3 minutes to get it sparkling again. Washing in the winter is a must if you ask me, keep the salt from corroding the car and all that.

Maybe it's an age thing, im only 22 and have numerous girl friends so a clean car is a must i guess  Plus i drive some nice cars and they just look better clean :!:

The new Race Face Next SL is a very nice crank indeed, stiffer and lighter than XTR. Im hoping to pick one up in the next month.

If i was a few kg's lighter however the Clavicula would be mounted already! That thing sets the bar as far as im concerned.

Just gone the opposite way myself, started a new business in partnership with a friend! Hope it goes well. Got tired of the routine and boring life of office jobs.
