I was impressed with his whole speech – no reference cards etc all off the top of his head.

Better than the blubbering tit he replaced.

It would look terrible – gold sprokets on a red carrier ??

As far as im aware TiNi coating doesn’t harm the metal like anodizing does to steel etc – so why not just get the whole thing done at once ?

Not that i see the point – TiNi is a low friction coating. It’ll do bugger all in prevent the grit on your chain wearing away at the metal.

Actually King headsets are well known, really well known for fcking your steerer tube. I certainly will not be buying one again, overpriced and over hyped.

Im ooop north near Edinburgh. Couple years back the Army decided to do a night battle practice or something – flares going off, blank rounds getting fired off. Was all a bit exciting tbh.

There’s a chopper up and about every couple of weeks messing around – they lift landrovers etc

There’s an old military base near me – the RAF use it for trainning sometimes, seen Herc’s landing there and helicopters reguarly trainning there too – so maybe there is something similar near you ?

Ah…. That might be something ?

I took it outside from a warm house straight into the cold would that be making it sag more ?

I brought it back into the house and checked it straight away too…

    Hmm Ok.

I shall take it for another ride after lunch to check what happens.

If i think about it i probably havent touched the air pressure in 12 + months as i got it late 07 about September, set it up and left it as is…

So fingers crossed it just needed a little re-freshing.

    Valve core is tight.

Well i dont really know if it is exactly 50 PSI but i run it about 180 PSI and when i attached the pump it was down at around 145 PSI or something – i know you loose pressure when attaching and removing the pump hose but it must have been down on a bit of pressure as it was sagging about 60% instead of 30%

Davefarmer.. Where did you get that about the oil ? Sids have about the same volume of oil as Reba’s etc and such should be tweaked every 50 hours – just like a Reba,Pike etc

Reason i dont want to get even a short insurance stint is that being under 25 and obviously a ragging mental head according to the insurance companies it’s not cheap to do so something that might fail.

Get some tubes with a removable valve core, put some Stans sealant in there – job done. Stans is a much better sealer.
