The only RS shock available with a remote is the MC3.R – which is a whole different league compaired to the monarch. It’s a simple shock – the monarch is much MUCH more advanced.

    SO THERE

No not really. The first set i had were odd but the new ones – the production ones are fine. No problems here. Im also running Furious Freds at 280 grams….

As usual mindless rubbish on STW.

Take a look at Bike Radar, MTBR reviews.com, cyclingnews.com – all of them agree the Monarch is level if not better than the Fox RP23.

165×38 is a standard size the Monarch is available in that. 165×28 is a typo.

Alot of people are quick to critisize – but i doubt most people have actually ridden one. I think there an excellent match to the new Blackbox damped RS forks as they have the same high and low speed compression circuits.

German mail order is trully excellent. I ordered some tyres last week and had them within two days there always fast, prompt and good at communication.

Garden loo perhaps. Behind the shed, bet they’d be comfy.

The description seems fairly accurate – more accurate than your average theif would care to do.

Perhaps it may be a much to intelligent idea but have you got a note of your forks serial number ? You could ask for photo’s and hope the serial number is pictured – if they match… If it’s been removed – ask why?

well SS just kept replacing them under warranty so i went along with it.

Apparently i was the only one in the whole country having problems with them….

The XTR unit they replaced ran fine for over a year and the new other brand unit im running at the momment is working perfectly too.

Gift only works if the value is marked as under £30

Get them to mark it “warranty replacement”

Works everytime – had LOADS of stuff this way import duty free.

Swadey not sure what you mean ? I need insurance to drive the car to work dont i ?

It’s due to the risk i think. For example your more at risk of having an accident going to certain jobs than others.

Yeah, i could understand saying your employed if your not would be bad – but once it’s insured/taxed i’ll be off to the garage to work at the potenial job offer…

    Doubtfull.

There a pain in the ass pedals – the bushing is harder than the axel, so it wears the axel instead of the bushing. If you ride it too long though with play you wreck the bushing too.

Just open them and have a look. IIRC 5mm allen key to take the end cap off and an 11mm socket for the nut.

It’ll be using a fair amount of bandwidth over the month period. If you have a 1gb per month cap i’d get worried.

Get an uncapped service. They say they are uncapped but there not really i got a warning for using 50gb in a month once and i later discovered the whole allowance is 500gb a month so a few more users like myself and the ISP would be runnning low.

Just need a wireless network card.

BUT – does the router have a socket on the back ? You could just bang a cable in from it to the PC and save alot of faff.

But i have a debit card with HBOS – and have had so for 6 years or so. It’s got loads of direct debits set up on it etc.

Why should i need to prove paying money back when all it is, is a debit card so I can pay for stuff with MY money ?
