My Merkur Vision somehow went wrong when I was cleaning it so that the balde gap was HUGE and wouldn't reduce properly so it went back to be checked out. In the meantime, I got a 38C Heavy duty or something that i much prefer so if/when the vision comes back I'm selling it.

Good brush, nie cream or soap and a new blade is great after a little bit of practice.

Take your time and don't push on at all. Give it a week or 2 and you'll be pretty confident and comfortable with it.

The MRs and I have been doing Pilates 2-3 times a week since Christmas and I really notice the benefits, better core strength = easier getting up and down from the floor, better posture, helps on the bike with flexibility and getting over/around stuff and generally feel better. I can even see my abs!

We started with a simple DVD and have moved on to the more advanced ones.

Check out stottpilates.co.uk (google stott pilates if that is wrong)

She did look like she could take care of herself, but still easy on the eye IMO

I find that the quality of the Endura stuff I have had has been OK (no better) but the sizing is completely unpredictable and seems to be different for different items. There is seldom much link between their size charts and the actual garments. As I tend to buy online, then I go with brands where I can trust the sizing to avoid the trouble of returning stuff. As a result I have mostly Gore for mountain biking and Rapha for poncing road riding

2 or 3 during the day at work and 1 or 2 cups of tea before and after work.

Never drink coffee after about 5 as it keeps me awake.

I have some kenda navegals which were great, but since I changed wheels to Stans Arch, they won't go on at all. Good in the muc though.

You need to change the settings for the PC so that the projector and the screen on the laptop are showing different things in display settings.

We bought the chariot and think it is ace. The suspension is excellent if you want to go on bumpy fire roads and forest paths. I think they hold their value resonably well and the build quality is top notch.

What's it made of? Looks like it must be steel in which case it also looks really heavy…

You should't feel too bad, cycling isn't a particularly cheap hobby, but can you imagine the answer to this question on a motor racing site or a motorbike site…

Dread to think probably £2000 – £3000 on average, but I wouldn't be surprised if it worked out to be more 😐

I was considering servicing them but I haven't managed to find any suspension grease yet (judy butter) and it is a very easy job to keep putting off…

I think I'll probably go for the 180s, just thought I'd ask.

Somehow it seems odd to put 203 on a hardtail 29er XC race bike anyway 🙂

Now to find out about that adapter…

    Follow up question:

I ride/race XC but I am about 15 stone – hence wanting more stopping power. Should I get 180mm or 203mm rotors?

Brake is IS mount. How do I know what adapter to get?

I have no idea why people restrict their potential buyers to the UK only, it makes no sense at all. You have to go to the post office to send it anyway, you can charge the buyer for the extra cost of shipping and you get the money before you send the goods.

The only real risk is that the parcel may be more likely to get lost en route meaning that you have to refund the buyer, you can insure the parcel for that as well if you are worried about it.

I would have thought that it would fit in a normal bag that can take a road bike. Haven't tried mine though TBH, but I can't imagine it would be a problem unless it is 25" frame or bigger.

I was about to mention. I hope you are ending up by the valve as the last section otherwise you are making life even harder for yourself.
I have a set of Kenda 29er tryes that I simply cannot get on my Stans Arch rims. Nowhere near.

It's a second car so it won't be often that I need to get the bike in it, I just wanted to know if it is possible if I absolutely have to do it.
As an aside, I test drove it last night and it is total gash, but that's what you get for your money and there isn't really an alternative at the moment here in Denmark unless I want a Suzuki (is it an Alto?)

Anyway I think we're going to order one tomorrow 🙂

I got some serious twiches in my calf muscle at a 12 hour race a couple of weeks ago and it totally freaked out the woman giving me a massage.
She wanted to leave me alone after that but I (err) made her carry on…

    That sounded bad didn't it

No happy ending this time… 😳

I would have thought that by putting a bike on top of an Aygo then there is a pretty igh risk that you wouldn't be able to drive into a headwind 😆

    Hard work
    They fall asleep
We got the fancy Chariot one with suspension and a roll cage so we don't put them in helmets as the helmets don't really fit in that well.
Kids really like it for 5 minutes until they fall asleep
Sometimes you can't hear them talking so you have to stop and get off the bike to answer serious questions such as " Daddy, how are prams made?"
Ours are getting too big to fit in it together now 🙁

2nd for ergons. I will never use a normal round grip again. They make a really big difference for me in terms of comfort, tiredness and even controll.

They are a bit heavy, but worth it.

Very happy with our Mazda 6. Good value and I can't find a bad thing to say about it. Also avoids being a Mondeo man.
Passat is nice but costs more so maybe there is a tax implication…
