That is a lot os stuff up there, but I was Slow carb for a year and lost quite a lot of weight and now I have been paleo for 2 years. It’s the best change that I have ever made in my life.

Don’t eat processed foods, avoid foods with sugar don’t eat grains.

it’s easy and if you make an effort to get more good quality sleep, it will transform your mental and physical wellness.

Check out robbwolf.com and bulletproofexec.com as well, it’s another goldmine.

The church of our saviour is great but closed in the winter. I think Tivoli is closed at the mo as well but that is a blessing. Malmo is nice as is Dragør, a small typical old town a short bus ride from the airport.

Danish reality TV is every bit as sh1te as any other kind.

They seem to make 1 or 2 good series per year and the whole country watches. The killing was really good, I am finding borgen much harder to get interested in.

There was a good comedy called Lykke a year or so ago that didn’t seem to make it overseas, maybe the humour was too danish.

Got dropped 10km into a road race at the end of the season and haven’t touched a bike since. Had enough of road racing so I am going back to enjoying riding this year and balls to racing.

Getting a new boat next weekend and plan on using the bike as a fitness supplement to that along with some weights and circuits.

It seems like it was time to take a break as training seemed to be something that I felt guilty about missing and didn’t really enjoy when I did it as it tended to be too focused on intervals rather than enjoying the ride.

Sailing at th moment, in fact I’ve gone right off bikes in the last 6 months after 20 odd years of being obsessed by them.

Think it was related to overtraining and bein shit at racing that put the final nails in the coffin, maybe I will get back into it when the spring comes.

I’m ashamed to say that I swear in front of both my mother and my kids 😳

It’s a bit difficult to then expect them not to swear although living in a country where swearing in English is acceptable in almost any circumstances, I have become a little immune to it.

Back to blighty this evening so I’d better put a lid on it!

And if you have crumbling discs, then look into what wheat is doing to you in general.
Robb Wolff and Dr William Davis may be able to talk you into giving the stuff up completely.

It works well as a strict diet if you are fat and needyo shed some weight. It only gets out far though and if you do some research, there is a lot of good advice out there ( assuming you ignore any advice to become a vegan)

I eat a healthy diet now as far as I am concerned. If you want to eat grains, that’s up to you, I don’t care!

I think my body is happy at 15% fat and that’s more or less fine with me. I have decided to compete sailing next year so my weight is fine and I am lifting more weights now to get some strength and geneal conditioning.

The idave thing was the beginning of a journey for me and I am grateful to him for that. So much so that I don’t feel too bad about the money that he apparently scammed from me.

My family and I have changed the way that we shop ( from the local farm now) cook (pretty much everything from scratch) and eat (more or less no sugar) for the better regardless of the diet doctrine tha you follow, that is a good thing..

As someone on here once stated, eat as much junk food as you like, just cook it all yourself!

I did the “he who must not be named” diet for about a year and am now living pretty much 100% paleo/bulletproof

This suits me well, although I would like to be leaner, it just doesn’t seem to be happening and I am stuck at about 15% body fat. On the plus side, I feel great on the diet, it fits with the rest of the family (who aren’t mad on beans) and from all of the research I have done, it seems to be pretty healthy.

I think all of this stuff is fascinating and it has become something of a hobby (along with boring anyone who will listen)

As for “him” – don’t ask

Be aware that you can’t read a back lit screen for very long without getting tired eyes and if you read one in bed, it stops you sleeping for ages because of the blue light. Get a bog standard black and white e reader if you want it as an e reader and a tablet if you want one of those.

At the moment there isn’t a device (that I know of) that can do both of these things.
( I have a sony reader that is pretty good and an ipad that is great but causes insomnia)

I remember dropping the oil filler cap down the back of the (hot) engine of my Mazda 6 once at a petrol station. That was rather embarrassing, but thankfully, there was a kind mechanic with a torch and a grabby thing to get it out again.

I learned to be more careful where I put the filler cap and to get a car that didn’t drink oil after that.

This is perfect timing. My 7 year old wants a skateboard for his birthday too and I know absolutely nothing about them.

Doesn’t need to be particularly fancy, but maybe not a Toys R us special.

He is pretty average height, should I just go for the smallest size?

Any CRC or wiggle equivalents for skate stuff?
