i used to work for a porsche garage.ocassionally things would filter down to us pondlife on the shop floor that made you sick.
people used to get unbeliveable things done purely because they were rich.
one of the best complaints i heard was whilst chatting to a down to earth guy who i didnt realise was loaded, he started to complain about what a pain it was trying to keep all the batteries charged up on his "collection" of supercars…..how about driving them was a tempting reply 👿

Buy one from CTS.they are all alloy, the rear wheels are cambered inward which improves cornering no end and they collapse flat and the wheels qr in no time. if too expensive look on ebay for second hand.
bloody good tho.
get a cheap hardtail hack for towing and give your fs a break.you wont be going all that fast with your nippers in either or you will shake them to pieces so the bike doesnt have to be cutting edge.

when youve done it once on the main, it should be a pretty good deterent not to do it again! was for me!

unwiring light fitings in a big warehouse.all were switched off i was told…unfortuatly two were switched else where and the bulbs were also blown.

as a teenager on a two stroke bike that wouldnt start. my brother said, stick a screwdriver in the ht cap and look for a spark.i did exactly as he said….and held the shaft of the screwdriver while i kicked it over! christ that makes you jump.great days.

its either;
1)leaky beads. break them and reseal.
2)slow punctures
3)porous alloy wheel(rare)

i did this for 6 months when i was on the dole through the summer.i loved it tho my wife wasnt working either so its not exactly the same.great 6 months for me but i agree with

its a age thing.i belive you tend to "lounge around" alot mor in your teen and twentys, when you hit the thirtys you start to "pull your finger out" more ie buy house, renovate house have kids, work more to pay for all this, worry more about all this etc etc. so time passes faster as you have more on your mind.
well thats what i recon anyhow…

you shouldnt be riding if it still hurts…plain and simple!!

if you swap the spokes over one at a time, do you loosen them all first or just undo one at a time while all the rest are full tension?

where i used to work i had to chase a lot of people for money they owed us as we had cocked up and forgot to charge them.the thing is if its not much and you drag your heels and ignore it for a while they may well right it off (but they wont tell you) it cost way more in time and money to start court proceedings etc etc.
