Im sure its great off road.what im saying is dont see the point in middle class wifey types buying on to ponce around town and pick up the kids from private school.just buy a regular car.

id say only buy one if you have no intention of using any of its off road capabilitys what so ever.

However,if you reguarly “take on” waitrose carpark when picking up a nice bottle of red and some antipasti cos clive and felicity are coming round, then its for you!! 🙄

well to my mind id say anything not ground floor seems most desirable.im young, fit, happy to carry the bike and dont like being over looked, plus the open window thing is quite a good one…

    quelle suprise…. 😯

on the other hand some weirdo’s on ebay may want to buy spares, eg casing, screen etc…you might make back the 10 hours plus youve spent on it…oh, plus the cost of the rice (guess you can still eat it)

try it, its great…much less restrictive, and you dont need a “cabinet reshuffle” everytime you sit down, get in or out of the car etc etc.

binners, ive had the same happen recently after 11 years. you dont say if you have kids.thats the hard part for me seeing my kids on a drip feed. if you dont…be happy!! you can know rewrite your life to be better than before.

“Won’t say it was easy, had some dark days and some very disturbing thoughts about self destruction but guess what?
I’m happier now than i thought possible. I have a wonderful partner but live alone (our choice) more bikes, more money and a partner who rides bikes rather than a fat, lazy fiancee only interested in masturbating over david tennant! “

ditto. better off without the old munter!! 😆

just to mix this up.teenagers are also equally inept at cutting a loaf…but both sexes of mine are useless!
also the amount of loaf squashing that happens is four times greater with yoof’s.a freshly baked, straight from the oven bloomer is doomed!

tesco, half price at 7 quid.lasted well, reasonable cut.cant complain.
bought some dunderdoon ones from cult clothing years ago.they were 48 quid and cut to completly the wrong size.utter pants!

torminalis that is good logical advice.

im suprised how many people have not been on here harping on about how “our eyes met…and we have never been apart since…etc etc”
just to make us all feel sick and in meaningless relationships.
spose most of us are blokes…maybe mums net would help me more!!

thing is sharki from what i was told (by the ex) the “spark” is there from the moment you meet, if, they are right.if you dont feel it then they arent right. i feel you can spend time with someone and as time progress’s you get more deeply into each other and the bond grows stronger (or not if you arnt right)
thing is ,maybe its cos im too selective, but theres been very few women i havent felt strongly for at all after knowing them for a very short time.
    sigh..confused.

woody, that was always my opinion, and when the ex went on about it it confused me. i really think she will spend years “looking” and even when settled, will still question it.thats what she’s like.
and also thats not what i want to do.spend ten-twenty years only to realise there is no real way of knowing and i could have spent that time enjoying being with someone.
spose even if they feel right to me they could up and leave at any time
(as thats what happened to me)

no uplink your not wrong, and its 18,14 years time!
she does have a bit of a concience as she wants the kids to see me in a decent enviroment but frankly its almost impoosible to find a solution.

well its marrital home.both names on mortgage and the deeds.
she had the house when i met her but she was on benefits.in the 10 yrs together she has worked but not much.been raising kids for lots of it.i worked throughout. i paid the mortgage outright for 6 years that i do know as we had joint accounts then. but i was sharing money with her from the start (unofficially)
the 45k comes from the increase in value of the asset during the time i paid to maintain the asset split 50/50.
it sounds kinda dissjointed but thats another grey area

ok so the bigger picture.ive split with my wife.she currently doesnt work, i do.i need somewhere to live and she owes me some money from our marriage.approx 45k.if i had this now it would be a good deposit for a mortgage and thus a secure home for my two young kids when they visit.the only asset is the house. if she had a good salary she could remorgage and get some more cash to buy me out, but she doesnt and i think she would need to earn a lot to do that which wont be for years.we could sell the house but she again cannot raise a morgage at all and will loose a lot in fees etc.once the fees are gone and im paid there wont be a lot left and certainly not enough to get a big enough house. the house is worth 400k with a 100k morgage, bed you cant get a 4 bed house round here for 200k plain and simple.(she has two older kids as well as our two little ones)
    Help! any possible ideas…?

FWIW ex of mine was very def bi.she and i were together for some time.nothing ever happened in that time. it was novel and cool to begin with, but after a while it started to dawn on me and thru talking i realised all she mainly got off on was the idea of the birds. you soon start thinking when, youre doing the deed, are you actually thinking about me? girl im with now is def in to me as a man and all that represents, plus its my “blokes bits” that she gets off on and thats much better.
if i met another girl who was as into woman as my ex it would be a def no go.when your going through the motions you want to know the woman youre with is totally into you…and nothing else.

Midnight hour, thats good advice.its not a case of unrealistic, im happy to date her for months before anything happens…if shes interested.shes worth the wait belive me, but also i dont want to play it cool and she then thinks im not really interested and wasting her time.

Hels.good point also.i could just be lying.she doesnt know if its all true.

anyway shes up for my dinner invite for tommorrow so i hope all goes well!

sharki, your bang on.frankly if she didnt fancy me id still like to be mates with her, she’s such a good laugh.i just didnt want to seem uninterested or like i was wasting her time, but frankly that is my way really,im happy to take my time and get to know her.
ok ill cool it, if it comes my way then fine, if not then fine.
ill see what comes from the next attempt to meet….hopefully something good.we were having quite a flirty chit chat leading up untill the weekend meet, when i was nearly asleep on her!
    hey ho, fingers crossed!

    im 34, she’s 40.
i went to kiss her but got an obvious “cheek offered in my direction”
maybee its the kid thing.the guy she was seeing with kids, had his ex go a bit nuts and create when she found out he was seeing her.
youre right, ill try and meet her again and see what she says.just seems a bit like being 15 again, going ” i really like you, do you like me?” not really hollywood romance is it?
my mate was there but there was meant to be a big crowd also who then didnt turn up, so it became an uncomfortable three.

idave. ill be honest, not this bad but probably a bit.i just really like her, thats all.im not obsessing about her, but shes a good one!
