Most of the kinda normal stuff has been ruled out. Drink maybe a unit a week, never smoked, work in an office with a circulating air con unit.
I could swim when I last tried 15 years ago but would be awkward now with the opening times of my local pools.

I guess I will have to wait to find out the cause of the bad breathing.

Do any of you find it kinda pointless when you do go out but cant put any effort in? Have you worked out ways to make it interesting anyway?

Thanks Deviant, I will see if they help with my breathing.

Do the give you a prescription for a new house? LOL
I have hayfever but was only told to take my antihistamine if my hayfever acts up. Will taking them all the time help?

Looks like I have hypersensitivity pneumonitis but they haven’t worked out what I am allergic too. I also have bronchiectasis. I have found in the past the the exercise helps a bit.

I have a all electric house and use £84 a month. (3 bed semi with ok insulation)

Make sure your immersion heater is on a timer as that will make a huge difference. We only need it on for an hour over night but have an eclectic shower and dishwasher so don’t use much hot water.

We have night storage heaters so we use economy 7 eclectic. I guess if you are heating up the house as you need it or with fan heaters and the like I guess you could be using that much.

Thank you all, I think we are doing the right thing we just got to give her time. At least i know it is a normal thing to happen.

The reward for your help is a bad quality picture.

All have been doing is slightly reducing my calorie intake. In reality I have changed very little. No junk food and balanced meals.

I should be able to eat 250-500 Cal less a day without feeling like this. I have dieted more strictly before and had none of this.

Edit, 1500 is the minimum i have eaten, normaly 1700-2000. Much more if i am riding but has been days since i have done any exersice and have eaten almost 2000 cal each day and still feel rubbish

    I have finaly moved.

I am just getting over a chest infection but if the offer of a local tour (slow one) is still on Davo that would be really helpful.

    Cheers.

Hopeuly moving over Christmas time. Not got a date yet.

From essex been living out in Malton then out near Sherrif Hutton for the last few years.

I was worried what the area was like but was asured by family that the bit we are moving to is ok. We are moving to the very north east corner, Airdale is further south right? I have been aroud quite a few times now and that top corner seems ok.

I did see that other post after I had made this one. I will try and meet some of those guys too.

I will be on the east edge of ferry fryston backing on to where the Aire goes under the new A1. That is good to know that there is stuff local, sounds like i will need to ask for a guided tour once i get moved.

Work is on the south edge of leeds is the only reast i was thinking of sticking down there. didn’t fancy crossing leeds every day at rush hour.

I also didn’t know there was a north south devide so might start looking north.

    Start at the visitors center.

It is 24 miles with a fair bit of climbing. I am in a local club That have a TT round the red and only 7 people have ever gone under 2 hours (people in the club that have submited a time, i am sure there are loads more people that have done it quicker). first time i did it was at a social pace and was about 4 hours. the last quater can be hard going in the wet. There are loads of ways to bail back to the carpark if you look at an os map.

do people really think when he saw Lidl he thought “I might get some free water.” He thought “free stuff with no risk of geting cought. I will get whatever I can”
The fact that water was the only thing left should have nothing to do with the sentence handed down to him. You really think if there was a PS3 sitting next to the water he would have still gone for the water.

it isn’t fixed, he is freewheeling loads.

The pack might just be for the batteries for the “cool” lights

if whoever fitted your new mech hanger aligned it to the wheel with the right tool it shouldn’t matter if your frame is slightly bent.

Most alu frame are suprisingly out of alignment at the rear from new anyway.

a track is a log of your gps position at a seires of different times. It is historical data and i didn’t think it could be modified. If you think about it there are no way points to edit.

ok, it shows an elivation plot but no indication of total gain. I find the elevaion plots don’t give me any information i can’t get from glancing at the map but total gain i find really usefull in planning.

How slow was the guy riding the course going at the start of all the obsticals. If anyone did that on race day they would be losing postions all over the shop.

The dalby WC XC course is almost all new track and the short sections that were recycled where re-layed before they were used. Looks good to me and i know i couldn’t do those obsticals at the speeds you will have to do them on the day.

I like the idea of tar and fethering a cat to try and convince people it is a new animal.

I think making something like a jacket will be alot of work but i like the idea of triming it down to a summer quilt. Not sure i would really use a summer quilt as most people team them up with a warm down jacket as i understand it and i don’t have one of those.

Really is only one club that has and MTB stuff. There is a shop that i hope to start doing weekly weekend rides with. They seem much more more orginised than the club are.

    I am in North Yorkshire

i fixed my ingrowing toe nails years ago by putting small wadges of tissue under the corners of the nail to lift them out of the skin. Like the guy above said do this for a bit and if you keep onto of cutting your nails it shouldn’t come back.

Glad i never went to a doc, ripping your nail off for the sake of tissue papper.

I have followed the advice in here but didn’t use any of the plans. Loads of stretches, run/walk etc. The first week i did three two mile run/walks and felt fine. Second week went up to three miles. the first run was ok but gave me a niggling ache in my knee 5 days later it was feeling better so did 3 miles in 30 mins and was quite happy but it has left my knee really painful. Gave it 5 days off but was still too painful to run this weekend. It is now painful to run and aches when walking. I guess i should i give myself more time off with ice and ibuprofen gel and go back to 2 miles but should i go out for bike rides in the mean time or will the hinder my knees recovery?

I was hoping for something inbetween thisisnotaspoon and MSP.

I thing i will go for pre rinse with hose, cheep £5 wash ‘n’ wax using two bucket method and a cheep micro fiber mit, and just use a hose to do wheel arches and under the car.

Who really can be bothered to put one proper coat of wax on a car let alone 4
