I think Endura are a bit hit and miss. All the kit I own from them is very decent and I like it a lot. The fit is perfect and the quality is great for the money.

Then some people just hate on it, and seem to get really unlucky. It’s odd.

    ah, no it isn’t.

It’s a seatpost that is so simple, and it just works.

Examples include the USE Sumo :)

it is barebones as the saddle looks perched there and very attractive. It makes me feel good inside.

I have Launch Pro’s too and they are nice pads. Subtle branding and comfy padding make for a good pad for all day riding, and they have a decent kevlar layer so actually would stop some pretty big hits I would imagine!

I had the same issue as the OP. Poor reception for even analogue channels, and recieved about 5/6 freeview channels if you were lucky (literally depending on the way the wind blew). Set up a freesat dish for about £200 new, and now can recieve thousands of foreign channels (if you like that), and all the standard freeview stuff decent quality. Also better than a freeview box or anything because you can plug in a HDD to record, and it’s a one off cost.

wow mystery of the saddle. Have asked the bloke whose bike it is but didn’t get a response.

I have an obsession with unbelievably thin saddles…. and barebone seatposts. Find me more saddles that are ultra thin, it makes me happy. :)

You can’t seriously have just got me that bad! I thought it was a real name! Luckily I didn’t google image search…..

That SLR looks about right, only the markings are not the same.

Intense Arselasher comes up with nothing on google bar this thread! Don’t think it’s the selle as it looks thinner and is not shiny.

    More pic:

Look at the lack of markings… and a circular kind of logo.

Remember when talking to coppers you are usually talking yourself into trouble. If they ask you a question, ask if they are holding you for any reason. If they reply no, walk away. You are not obliged to talk to a policeman. (unless you’ve done something wrong of course) Usually things you say/do end up getting you arrested, so unless they actually saw you do something, they can’t do anything.

And yes, always take their number and make notes if possible. Also if you have your GoPro, record the conversation too. Pisses them right off.

That said, some coppers are nice blokes.

Doesn’t sound like you’re doing much on your bike other than riding on the pavement. I tried mine with no device, rode out the drive and dropped off a 3 inch pavement and the chain fell off. Even removed about 4 links.

^depends which chainring you have. Stock one, yes, but if you get a renthal or a gammut, the teeth stick up by about 2mm above the chain (9spd , not sure about 10 but must be much the same)

had a man buy a bike at work, brought back the forks 2 weeks later. 2 months later, DT Swiss returned the forks ‘fixed’. 2 weeks later, man is back, forks are broken. We replaced with Kashimas instead due to all the trouble.

Avoid….! They make decent enough wheels but dont go near the forks

have got this set up on my phone to look at at work tomorrow… won’t indulge tonight!! But lots of great responses, really like that. And they are all nice.

I’m kind of debating to do a frameswap, hence the thread. Any bikes out there with the same criteria as post one, but running 1×9 or 1×10?? would be sick to see.

    thanks all
