I’d quite like an 8gb transformer chi as it looks like nigh on laptop power with half the bulk

If you are remotely worried empty the air cans and then send marked as bike parts.

They won’t check unless it explodes.

ive got an EVOC 10l FR team, its pretty good comfort wise.

The loading up is a bit tricky as it doesn’t have any give it is quite flat which is good as it stops the load swinging about but you have to be picky about what you pack.

Which suits me a I rarely take a lot of gear with me.

    I have had:

661 sub gear – pointless without back padding and a nightmare to get on and off

O’neal STV t shirt – Good level of protection with removable shoulder pads, nightmare to get off when sweaty, one day when i stacked it and hurt my shoulder I had to have help taking it off.

Alpinestars Evolution jacket – excellent protection, terrible design, ends up being a belly top which is not a flattering look nor comfortable. Zip get stuck a lot due to sweat deposits, tried lubing it still a pain in the arse.

Next on my list is the Troy lee 5850 as a couple of mates have them and find them quite usable even when sweaty.

I also run the POC spine VPD t Shirt for big days out like BPW where the rocks are.

if you fit shimano adaptors with shimano discs and shimano brakes then they will match in all dimensions unless the frame tolerance is not spot on.

If you’ve made a hole you might want to consider putting a section of batten in the wall so that you can spread the load.

Get 5 tens, I bought a set of Danny Mackaskill’s about 2.5 years ago and they are still going strong.

£80 bit expensive up front but pays for itself in no time.

Its enough for me as i don’t like carrying much.

The stack height is about 22mm i would guess, not with the bike to check atm.

    Some additional photos:

    Hope they are useful.

Having been to Forest of Dean on the bike plus a few local spots it is def an improvement for the rough stuff.

I found i was dropping the front over some jumps so I went from a 25mm rise 760mm bar to a 35mm set of 780mm Renthal Fatbars and it is much better.

I would def recommend getting one.

Time will tell how it pans out £37.50 wasn’t a huge outlay to play about.

Cant’ believe so may of you say propose with a cheap ring and then go together to choose one. What a bunch of gutless wonders. Thats the easy solution. My wife lovers her engagement ring so much as she knows I put effort into choosing it and now know more about diamonds then she does. Yes she has to wear it for the rest of her life but its not like there are 100’s of designs to pick from and if you are proposing to her then you should have a fair idea of the kind of thing she likes. If you end up getting something she hates then I would question if you really know her.

    This!

I spent about a year choosing the right one which i had customised to my idea and purchased from a small bespoke jewellers.

She was as made up with the story behind it as she was the ring.

The journey home after picking the ring up i pulled over 3 – 4 times to look at the ring to be 100% sure, turns out I had nothing to worry about.

Be some body buy a ring.

get it in an M unless she has proper sausage fingers.

Buy one too big and get a bit of plastic tube you can tuck behind it so she can wear it on the day.

I proposed in cambridge and we spent an hour trying to find a jeweller who could fit a size adjuster to it which was annoying but she was in la la land.

sizing takes about 2 weeks if you need to get it done later, worth negotiating with the jeweller to ensure it is included.

If you buy from a high street jeweller like Fraser hart they just swap them out for one the right size.

    Get something bigger than 16gb.

Iphones run really slowly when they are 16gb as they very quickly fill up with the HD photos etc.

A couple of mates have the Nologo ones which look pretty similar.

They are ok, the bottom brackets wear fast but i presume that’s normal for a bike that never stops pedalling.

for ease of use get the ones that the wheel sits in rather than hooks in to.

    http://www.cyclehoop.com/product/bike-racks-and-cycle-stands/vertical-bike-rack/

I persevered with hook in ones but they were always agro so now mine are all on horizontal ones
