I use plastic odyssey ones they are great.

I have had mine for about 5 years, no worries with impacts, kind on the shin for when you may not be in the best footwear.

    and cheap.

    Odyssey / Pedals

You can get so many variations too.

Mine are glow in the dark, I have moulded studs not the metal ones.

Perhaps you could mount the fan heater vertically on the wall so there is no draft?

An oil rad is a little slower to heat the room but as long as you put it on in advance of guest arrivals you should be fine.

If you have trickle vents in any units it would be worth closing them, also consider if the foam seal around the doors and other openings are intact, it’s cheap and easy to replace.

It may be worth considering if you intend to paint the wood?

Treated is harder to paint as it doesn’t absorb

Go pro studio has been pulled by go-pro for some reason.

It’s a shame as it was a great bit of software.

Quik never does what I want, hateful bit of junk.

I have an oil rad which I usually stick on before dinner then its toasty when I’m ready to go out there.

Last night was a bit last minute so I had the oil rad on and my boot dryer.

I got carpet from a relatives house when they were replacing it and that does a much better job than a painted floor.

It absorbs spillages, stops stuff bouncing away when I drop it, which with bike maintenance is a lot!, and its nicer to kneel on when looking for said part or working on something.

I have a garage Henry too.

I have some, the flange isn’t an issue.

They are fairly uncomfortable when used with bare hands.

They aren’t super comfortable with gloves.

I have the black thick soft ones.

Personally I prefer the ribbed bit and I have an older set of superstar which have this type and they are super comfortable.

I also own some Production Privee CR35 grips and they are wicked.

if you use the handle one then make sure you use the loop of string around your wrist
It’s a bit hit and miss with Go pro mounts, some are really good value others are just cheap shite

I most recently broke a genuine Go pro one which is annoying.

Unfortunately it is my Road bike / commuter.

If I could rely on my MTB being at the station when I got back to it I’d ride that every day

is there a plug in the bottom of the shell or a cable guide?

You may be able to remove that and squirt some releasing agent in there?

Or if not then pour/squirt a load in via the seat tube

Get some carpet with underlay on the floor to stop any heat getting out that way.

I fitted a brush strip to the bottom of my door which helps loads with dust and leaves.

I need to get some insulation for the door and roof.

The valve logo alignment is fine, on the drive side the valves will be at the bottom while the tyre model will be proudly displayed at the top.

Hmm, Can you get the seat post length to pedal it?
Yes. But with a 450mm seatpost. although I haven’t ridden it any way other than completely slammed (shorter seatpost) since before the summer.
    I’m only 5’11” (33″ inseam) though.
I don’t also mind riding a bike stood up everywhere.

That would be quite some post!

I guess a dropper with some extension could work.

How do you find the reach?

    Nope.

    I have a Hornet 4X. it’s the exact opposite.

Hmm, Can you get the seat post length to pedal it?

I have a 160mm Saracen Ariel so I can go on pedally rides on that worst case

    I’ve got a 2016 Hornet, size large i’m 6’2″
    160mm fox 34’s on 26″ wheels

I find it ok on jump trails but boring as sh!t on normal trails, hardly feels like it wants to pop and not very playful.

    Is it just me?

I removed all the remote lock outs from my bike at great pain.

Waste of time and bar space.

I’d identify your location and find out what people have knocking about.

I’m in Chelmsford / London SE1 if that is of any use and I have some bars and a 100mm/110mm stem you can have and chop up as you please.

Put a curved half section of pipe over it to stop any more collapse might be a start?

I had a mate knock up an extension on his lathe, it slots in the top, same diameter as the steerer and then have a head lock assembly installed to hold it together.
    Can’t go anywhere.

Go one better and donate it to a worthy cause who gets kids out of trouble by going rallying or something.

You could remain a benefactor and see it getting used and loved

    DT78,

Have you considered purchasing from Screwfix ? their LYTE Helix towers are not the cheapest but are recognised as a decent make, might be easier to sell on?

    https://www.screwfix.com/p/lyte-sf18nw37-helix-narrow-width-industrial-tower-3-7m/72288

Wrightyson, I would agree with you but we don’t put towers up very often, they were scolded and sent to bed with no dinner.
In all seriousness no towers are allowed up on site without a senior member of the team checking them over.

You could swap the tyres out for some Schwable Table tops that would work on and off road.

I would look to wider bars and shorter stem combo

    760mm bars 60mm stem.

do you try to corner it like a mtb ? I can rail my road bike on 25mm tyres by pushing down on the bars and dropping the outside crank.

    nwmlarge

If you are messing about with towers please do a PASMA course.

I have seen members of my team who have done the course still make mistakes and some of them could have been fatal.

I binge on holiday, hardly read at all otherwise.

I was reading a lot on the train for a time, I then noticed how much I was spending on books!

I tried to calm it down by seeking out the lower priced items on Amazon but they are usually low priced for a reason.

I now mostly watch films or box-sets on prime on the train.

100mm gap, could you use a roller on a pole to seal the lower brick courses?
