I have ordered this as the price is nuts.

I paid £120 delivered, hopefully it turns up

A mate has the predecessor and it is awesome.

If you have to ask then def get them to check it over imo.

I consider myself a good amateur mechanic so I would comfortably get on with it.

Pretty much most of my mates would bring their new bike round to be assembled or checked given the same situation.

It’s £40 not to lunch the mech in the rear wheel on your first trip out or destroy the headset bearings because you didn’t set the top cap correctly.

i would recommend one which can swivel, unless you have a particularly spacious workshop?

spray the fork with water before applying the new decal.

I would make alignment marks on some masking tape prior to removing the old ones to be certain they are bang in line.

£15 is a lot to waste on getting them wonky.

looks like you want this kit: http://www.shimano-sportcamera.com/en/accessory.html

A go pro mount won’t hold on the bit pictured as the go pro ones expand when they are slid in.

I’ve tried the ghetto press method and always end up having to resort to a mallet/hammer and wood.

It would be ideal if they had a hammer in system like the star nut setting tool

I see what you are saying and I have in turn answered my own question.

The hub has the 10mm conversion so it won’t have any interference issues as it will only be contacting the insert.

    Trigger pulled thanks.

That certainly looks like it would fit the bill.

Are you aware of any issues whereby the thread is in contact with the bearing inner races?

I daresay that if you spoke with prize donater you could swap it out for something.

Does always seems strange though, especially when riders are sponsored elsewhere.

Some of the stuff they get at DJ events is hilarious in terms of colours and styles.

It all depends on usability for me.

I have an electric closer on mine which locks the door in place.

I also have an alarm fitted.

To have 2-3 locks to undo every morning when it’s freezing would be a faff to me.

My most expensive bike is locked up, the rest are in the garage, all are insured to new value.

Yes. Also when you’re on the Brompton and you come to a stop and forget that you can’t straddle the bike and lean the top tube against your leg

I have done this so many times.

Also works in reverse when you forget you aren’t on your Brompton/Folder and you are on your mtb and you can’t step through the frame as you stop.

I favour the running dismount sometimes.

Handles well with 160mm fork on it.

I substitute old V Brake pad spacers for avid stuff when I need them.

If you pop into a local bike shop and ask the mechanic nicely they usually have a few spare.

I did this a couple of years ago, It’s awesome fun!

Quite tricky getting used to the fixed gear and not leaning like you would a mountain bike.

Once you get on the bank its super addictive and you’ll be flying about above the logo’s in no time.

Don’t take a go pro they won’t let you use it.

If you intend to use your own shoes take your own pedals too.

I got a nice toy grade drifter for Christmas.

I swapped the shell as it was a blue and orange aston martin to start with and I fancied a bit more of an Initial D look.

you could build a platform with sugru as mentioned.

This sticky pads grip really well but can be removed without damaging the helmet later.

The only other option is a strap of some sort but it will move loads and the footage will have clicky noises and be very shaky.

Almost all fixings for Go pro require a flat surface to mount on.

To get round this you can use Sugru: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=sugru&tag=googhydr-21&index=aps&hvadid=194709711245&hvpos=1t1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1414042886620086192&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045899&hvtargid=kwd-24402097061&ref=pd_sl_91u5yf5hx5_e

I used it to make an under visor mount for my Full face:

I have had it on there for 2 years with a full size Go-Pro, I now have a Hero 4 Silver, It works with the water proof case or the frame.

I would mention that with a side mount on a traditional pie-case helmet it is likely to add weight and make the helmet sit wonky.

There isn’t a lot of getting away from the telly tubby look unless you have a big visor you can mount it under.

If you do decide to mount it under a visor also check out Ninja-mount: https://www.ninja-mount.com/product/ninja-mount/

I have the Gusset single speed kit on my Shine, it looks good but there is a slight touch point due to my chain and the size of the cog I’ve used.

the larger the ring and cog the less likely there will be any interference.
