I put my leaving date in my signature about a week or so before, and I asked IT to set my OOO to identify that I had left and who to go to next.

My family paid for a drifting experience did 40 laps loved it, wife not so much as she had to stand on a windy and rainy airfield for a couple of hours.

That was in July as my birthday was in lockdown.

Why is this not a case of:

    Pay for course
    Learn
    Apply for job

    What am I missing?

Part time could be considered anything other than 5 days a week so yeah £30k is pretty easily acheivable.

My wife is a pt teacher, her biggest struggle is picking up where the other pt teacher leaves off.

If they aren’t a team its a struggle.

Given the hours they do all teachers are underpaid.

Mine are insured as for a like for like.

The value increases every year to compensate for inflation.

a lot of it is related to how un-shit everything is these days.

It’s rare that a mainstream product is actually shit.

all cars for sale currently are reliable and have modern conveniences for example.

Most bikes are serviceable and have good qualities.

Fashion is the only issue now.

I have a Glencoe, while it is a great bike its not worth £1,300 in hindsight.

The forks weigh a ton as does the frame, the frame doesn’t have a mud guard bridge and is a struggle to clear 2″ tyres, once it gets claggy mud on it you get a lot of audible rubbing on the frame.

That said, super comfortable for long rides and the brakes and gears are spot on.

I alternate between some 2″ nobbly tyres and the slicks they come on.

I’d get the Kona Rove and make it a 1 x

It seems some people have forgotten how to have a laugh on a day out.

    You win some lose some.

Some days the uplift is quick some days its not.

Some days you get stuck behind a backpack all the way down your favourite trail.

    It’s a trail centre not a race.

yes £41 is getting well steep!

    I have the TLD 7850
Had two sets now, been using them for about 6 years, they are spot on.

I paid about £80 not the silly £150 they are up for now.

It’s never much fun having any inspections down there.

Since my early 20’s i’ve had

    Pilodinal sinus op’s x 4
    Anal fissures mixed with hemorrhoids.

I had the anal fissures sorted with botox no less! really did the job, would thoroughly recommend pursuing that if you suffer with them. The very amusing side effect of uncontrollable flatulence for a couple of weeks too, good excuse for farting in any case.

I still get the hemorrhoids now, pretty much all the time.

I also get a horrendous pain after passing which lasts for hours, doctors have carried out 3 x unsuccessful colonoscopies, countless finger investigations and a baroscopy where they inflated my colon so they could have a look about and conduct a scan.
None of which have been successful in diagnosing the issue, currently awaiting an appointment to be put under general so they can have a good look.

A pain in the arse is just that! I’m at year 20 of my saga, chin up

I got a second hand Ender 3 fitted with a glass plate.

Had a few tuning items to get through but now I can leave it to do prints no worries.

I am in to Drift RC and have made quite a few bits for them.

Linkedin is the first place people will look.

If you haven’t already, do some housekeeping on FB and google in general, you will appear in loads of searches.

I always get roles through recruiters, approach them, tell them everything and let them do the work.

At director level they will be working on 15-20% or maybe higher of your salary and will work hard to get that.

Amazing machines I did an experience day in one and found it unreal.

I overtook lambo’s Porsches and astons like they were going backwards while I was going up hill.

Mostly ran in 4th to keep the tail behind me, instructor lap was a big eye opener and we got “light” over a crest.

i bet you are having a blast, fair play for convincing the mrs.

sounds like you need a traffic cam and run it off a USB pack on the bike.
Lots of the bigger battery light units have a usb port for charging phones, no reason it wouldn’t run the go pro, won’t be waterproof though.

Mount the roof box vertically next to all the bikes?

    nwmlarge

I find the best combination is to have bikes one above the other, takes up less space than the bike vertically if you have more than one.
Some garages will have the height for 3 bikes horizontal above each other.

Bar width is less than the bar height.

Not great for my wife to get the bike of the wall but that happens rarely now.

    so frustrating

Starbike were good as gold, they said it would take 2-3 days for stock to come in, it did then they sent it, took a couple of days to get to the UK then PF got involved…

    I bought from them recently.

I bought Zeb ultimates, they worked out about 629€ with the german VAT taken off.
By the time I got them the import charges, handling fees and VAT added 229€.

This is fine and was cheaper than any UK supplier not that any UK supplier is actually holding any.

    The biggest issue was parcelfarce

Parcel clears customs and lands with parcelforce, they marked it as out for delivery, I know there is a charge so I preempt this by going to the depot to pay it.
Can’t pay it if they haven’t written to you with a 17 digit code despite having the tracking details.
Had to wait 3 days for them to release the code, then paid it over the phone, while the office are telling me its out for delivery that day.
it wasn’t it went out two days later.

Long story short, don’t expect it within 2 weeks and your expectations will be about right.

I got the parcelfarce letter a week after I had them in my hand

Thanks Brexit and all the muppets who voted for it.
