It’s much cheaper to insure as a named item on the house insurance.

    Ask your provider.

My wife bought me this set: http://www.tedbaker.com/uk/Home-and-Gifts/Mens-Gifts/Gifts-For-Him/DIGESSY-Leather-wallet-and-card-holder-gift-set-Tan/p/141839-TAN

I have yet to use the larger wallet, I only tend to use a large wallet on holiday when I have actual notes on me rather than cards.

The card wallet is perfect for 6-8 cards and a couple of notes.

I agree, I have regularly bought from Germany due to lack of UK stock.

Also expect not to be able to power up some of the hills and to be very cautious on the way down some of the higher speed descents.

Really enjoyed it when I did it.

    I use Totally Sports Insurance.

It’s about £10-14 per month and covers you regardless of what you are doing for a set amount per injury.

You can get income protection also, I have mine with the mortgage provider.

I would recommend going to Kuoni to get the dream package then shop around.

We did Singapore for 2 nights, Bali for 4 nights, Nusa Penida for 1 night, Seminyak for 1 night, Lombok for 4 nights.

A fair bit of travelling but we did all the busy active stuff at the start and then chilled at the last place.

I saved about 2k and ended up using Mypuretrip http://www.mypuretrip.co.uk/

For the record i’m not muslim and this had no bearing on what we did or where we stayed.

**** bearings ride them till dead then replace.

Except headsets, pop the seals and pack them all the time.

I have two pairs of Vaults, I picked them both up second hand for £50 each pair.

The first set had to have a bearing and bush change after 3 years, the other set after 2 years.

They are the only pedal i like the feel of under foot.

Can’t stand the convex axle of the superstar nano’s

Order both, return the ones that don’t fit.

In my experience its the only way to get pads to fit right.

    Reverb for me.

Tried KS Lev, too much side to side at the saddle nose.

Tried Raceface Turbine, user serviceable but annoying need to reset frequently.

If you are going to be paying a spark to dig its gonna be very expensive!!

Once you factor in burying or clipping the cable it becomes very time consuming.

If someone is getting paid to do it you are also paying for the sign off.

If RM ask whats in the parcel I tell them its bike parts, they don’t care.

Package the hell out of it

I use my Whyte Glencoe for road duties, I have come from using a Specialized Allez.

It is marginally slower to accelerate but it makes up for this as soon as they is a rough patch in the road or a kerb or drain to ride over.

I have completed a 40 mile ride on it but nothing particularly impressive.

The 1 x 11 does leave a little to be desired between cogs but for actual hill climbing it is fine as the big cog at the back takes up the slack missing with the smaller front cogs.

Summary, if you are a casual road rider then yes a CX or Gravel bike would be a good idea.

This depends on the spoiler set up on your car and the placement of the supports in relation to your shock and frame layout.

I subscribe to the Frank Berto method.

Weigh the load on each wheel and then adjust the pressure to suit.

If you have a set of scales, you can sit one end of the bike on the scales and the other on a block of wood and then determine the front wheel and rear wheel loads.

Then follow the chart on this link to get to a good pressure balance.

    https://janheine.wordpress.com/2016/03/09/tire-pressure-take-home/

I used to stick 110psi front and rear assuming that high pressure would be ideal, properly balanced pressure is actually much better for handling and comfort.

As you have stated you are using the stuntman harness, you can make an even better connection by sacking off the ball joint and screwing the gimbal straight in to the harness.

I used a screw from one of the adaptors and trimmed it, then screwed straight through the plate from the back into the thread on the gimbal.

It makes it more stable with zero clicking, and it means that the gimbal is an inch closer to you which means the angle is better and lower.

I’d say the response received was due to the way you spoke to them in the first place.

    Straight on the attack.

Did the bearings fail due to machining tolerances on the hub?

Did the bearings fail due to enthusiastic jet washing?

Did the bearings fail due to side loading? Are you a lazy whip master?

The grievance of novatec being specced is down to you, you knew what the spec was when you bought it, same as if you bought a ferrari with linglongs all round.

I would put your feelings aside and look at it pragmatically.

Do you want to send the wheels to Novatec for inspection?

I had my 36 lowers resprayed recently.

I fully stripped them baring the internal bushes and then sent them off to be serviced and rebuilt by my suspension guy.

Good opportunity to service the forks, disassembly is easy.

I have a Feiyutech WG2 and keep finding myself not using it for fear of breaking it.

I’ve noticed I tend to tweak my bars in directly where it would sit when pulling tables etc.

Maybe I just need to get on with it and hope it rolls with the punches.

Personally not been impressed with the performance of either and I would recommend Shimano cables and outers.

Optislick if you feel the need to one up that.
