I have yet to see a replacement screen from any one but apple that doesn’t have a blue hue to it.

Spend the money once with Apple and buy an Otterbox defender while you are there.

I installed a Sheffield hoop with anti tamper nuts for the bolts and covered the whole thing with an old tyre to stop it marking the bike.

They are cheap to get hold of and if positioned well can accommodate several bikes.

As an interim you might find it useful to have the shoulder supported using K-tape.

If you buy some don’t get the stuff off of ebay, go to boots and buy decent stuff, it sticks longer and maintains its elasticity.

If you don’t already see a private physio or osteo then I would consider that, you can pick them up and drop them when you like and they will give more than often the NHS physio’s are willing to commit to.

A mate of mine did it with olive oil when in a jam once.

Doing the physio is about the only thing that will regain your stability.

I did a hefty separation job on mine in June and with a big of exercise it is perfectly strong.

I don’t fancy falling on it again but there is no padding that will stop a separation when you consider the forces involved to do it in the first place.

I used the ones from https://www.aplaceforeverything.co.uk/home-storage/bike-store-pedalo

Note you will need to either screw a bit of wood to the wall for the tyres or do what I did and go to B&Q for a couple of Lshaped brackets like this https://www.diy.com/departments/silver-effect-steel-perforated-bracket/243263_BQ.prd

I bought pedal brackets and have hung all sorts of bikes on them, pedals and bar width won’t matter. its all about where you place the tyre rests.

It’s not a great job to do on the drive tbh.

I would get on a passat owners forum/fb page and find out who is recommended.

There are a couple of decent people in essex who don’t take the mickey.

That’s two people that didn’t read the brief.

He needs to store the lens on their own with minimal chance of scratching them or dirty ones scratching the others when swapped.

I think it will end up being a custom fabrication along the lines of a CD wallet.

I find that a quick trip to the toilet at BPW to use the sink and the hand dryer solves a lot more problems, once the foam is wet they fog up all day.

Hand dryer is the solution or a couple of pairs of goggles.

Do you need to have a one piece door that opens fully?

I’d much rather have a normal door or a pair of doors.

If you have no intention to put a car in it it will much better serve you.

I have considered having my one piece cut in two.

If you really must, consider getting a Rylo or some other 360 cam, one way footage is only going to tell half the story, you have no idea why that car got close and it could be a good reason.

I can’t deal with riding fixed gears it does my knees in.

I think an ideal commuter would have 3-5 internal hub gears with disc brakes.

at £14.50 my barber gets nothing, they don’t need tips if they are on that sort of money for 15mins of their time, chair rent or not.

If its not easy to round up I don’t bother tipping generally.

    They make their own beds.

Scouts are great for learning to interact with various ages, work together, become independent and to make life long friends. in my experience.

I think  it also gave me a taste for being in a senior position, you could work your way through the ranks and the leadership gave you autonomy when appropriate, I think it was very worth while and would send my kids.

    i’m a two vacuum guy.

Henry I got off ebay for £25 for the garage. car cleaning and decorating clean ups.

Dyson upright for around the house, will probably go cordless for this when it dies as we have a cleaner who comes every other week with their own vacuum.

I never wanted the dyson and I still don’t tbh a Henry is easily the best design for vacuuming. Easy to clean out, follow you about, loads of attachments and serviceable at home.

have you tried a local garage? their torque wrenches will be in the range you want but their drive will be 1/2″ you may need adaptors.

I had the Lidl Stand, found it hard to keep the bike level would always slip round and the jaws were not particularly strong.

I then had the Park tools PCS-9 which was ok but didn’t fold up well and the rotation lock on the head was annoying as it was based on it wedging into the tube so you had to “crack it” ever time you wanted to adjust angle.

I now have the Feedback sports Sport mechanic stand, it’s lighter than the two above, stronger and more stable than both of the above. All movements are easy, the adjusters nip up with little effort and the head is super easy to adjust and holds, it hasn’t slipped on my at this point with all sorts of bikes mounted in it.

My bikes are Dartmoor shine, Airdrop Edit (15kg) and a Whyte Glencoe, they all fit really easily and never cause issues.

I am very happy with the feedback and would thoroughly recommend it.

This made me a bit sad, I’ve ridden in the same place as a few name riders but never on a ride as such.

Would be nice if some pro riders did organised rides and that, maybe they don’t want to. would be a buzz though.

I’ve been at Corby and Radical Bikes a few times when some pro riders are throwing down during a public session, that is really cool.
