I use the amazon special version of the shotgun, its £30 inc bars.

I can’t use the bars on my current bike as it doesn’t fit 35mm bars but I could get the official shotgun ones.

Zero safety of quality concerns with the kit.

I ride flats so wide knees is no issue.

I rarely have any stack height on my bikes to run the adaptor type.

If it were me I would consider some small scale crawlers like he WPL C24 for the kids, My son can drive mine and he is 3.

they are entertaining and keep them in a small environment as they can design little obstacles, cheap to buy and to fix.

For you the sky is the limit but I would warn against having young ones around, they are a liability and the trucks will maim.

I got this off amazon, used it on my Nomad, spot on

Get it with the handlebars, and get them a bell for the bars.

I would say lower your expectations.

I really wanted my son to get into bikes.

He’s now 3 had all the scooters, bikes and anything in between and he just loves hoovers.

Take him to the garage to get his bike, he just wants to play with Henry

Take him to a little kids bike training session at the local trials/dirt jump spot with a great pump track to learn on, he finds a hoover in the hut and obsesses about that.

His mate next door, loves his bike and kicks off if he’s not allowed on it.

    I dunno

Ask the wife of the self builder and the neighbours what they think.

I paid for my extension, £70k including all the kitchen and glazing finished. took 4-5 months.

My neighbour started his at least 2 years ago, he has no skills, his dad has the skills but will only work on it 1 day in 7 if that. It has a kitchen in it but is still miles off being finished.

I’ve had older reverbs, new ones, Lev’s a raceface one, a crank bros one and now a brand-x on my Nomad.

the Reverb trigger remote is hands down the nicest but there is no other value that would make me sway from a Brand-x.

    I’d buy and recommend a Brand-x

I have a some tambour units I got from an office clearance company that stores all tools and chemicals, stops my son being able to get at them.

if the fan is noisy, open the unit, vacuum the years of neglect out of it and reassemble, no doubt it will be quieter.

Sewed the crotch in some trousers
Replaced the accessory holder on the Dyson
Redid the silicon round the bath
Tightened the toilet flush handle into the cistern at work
Installed a stairgate on my toddlers room
I lose track of the things I fix because of my 2 year old’s enthusiasm.

    Transits are pretty uncomfortable.

I would say a Hyundai vans are much more comfortable.

Comparing them to a car is foolish.

My money would be on an elgrand or similar.

The users leaving their cars in bays is definitely and issue. I’ve run a few estates and they all do it.

If possible try to find a system that charges and then switches off allowing a second user to plug in, as identified above long leads expand the range of vehicles that can use a single point.

    Ideally separate supply.

Take a view on the demographic as to what models they are likely to buy.

If its all low end stuff that doesn’t use the high w chargers then but chargers appropriately if they are all Tesla or similar high end EV’s then buy the better chargers.

The standing charges and electricity prices at the moment will be through the roof so you may need to regularly review your tariffs.

This is likely to be Section20 expenditure level so consider that when approaching the tender format etc. This process will take 6-9 months assuming supply of the chargers is freely available.

A mate’s son was asked for a box of fish and chips, so he got him some and wrapped it.

My son is 2.5 and would mostly like unrestricted access to the hoover…

My condenser dryer sits next to a freezer in my garage, no issues with damp.

Keep on top of cleaning the fluff out of the fluff catcher and the slot and it keeps the condenser thing cleaner and therefore less maintenance.
Also open the container for water slowly so it doesn’t slosh about

    Brilliant machines.

I wouldn’t bother with shadow foam unless you have to transport it a lot.

You can get nice racks for spanners to go in drawers, even cheaper if you have access to a 3D printer

I have a feedback sports having had a PArk PS-9 and a Lidl special.

The FS is all you could want, compact when folded, smooth in operation (even for lowering with a bike on it) lightweight to carry, very stable when in use, not dropped a bike on it yet.

I stuck a knife magnet thing to the side of the head and that serves very well for holding tools while i’m working on bikes.

Couple it with a Park tools handlebar holder and you are set.

I used Piano DJ – Tom was excellent, they surveyed our music tastes before hand and nailed the set on the day.

Went to find a link, they ceased trading due to covid.

    Sorry for the unhelpful post.

I use an oil rad in my garage workshop.

I found using foam floor tiles helped a lot with retaining heat.

I’m gonna get a wifi plug for the radiator so I can warm up the workshop when I need to.

That was a long article for very little conclusion.

What did you ride, how hard did you ride it, what bike was it on?

    Crap article, try again.

You do need to keep the pistons lubed to ensure that they operate smoothly, annoying but part of high end kit.

They perform so well its worth a couple of hours in the garage from time to time.

I enjoyed it and was grinning so much in the first part where they had the chase and car gadgets etc.

I was confused as to why the EMP watch blew up mateys eye but didn’t kill the radio earpiece he had in…

I think it will be hard to top DC’s bond either way.

I would recommend, Snowboarding, great rush and so much fun.

Wake boarding, again a lot of fun and physically challenging

Both of those are quite seasonal

I have got into RC in a big way.

I have a TRX4 crawler for the scale driving and requires plenty of tinkering

I have a Baja Rey for blasting about and boosting jumps in a scale way – love trophy trucks and pre-runners.

I have a RWD drift chassis I use on carpet indoors at tracks, so much tinkering and lots of fun.

Defo satisfies the tinkering itch without laying on the floor under a car.

I have this type in my garage.

They are a great insulator much better than carpet and underlay I had before

They do dent and compress if you leave weights on them.

I noticed mine seem to be expanding a little with the regular walking about in the front section this led to a little ridge, I cut a strip out and they are fine now.

The other great thing is the lack of fatigue when standing in one spot. I have a Mac for 3d modelling things and printing them and I mess about with RC’s a lot so I can be stood for a few hours with no worries.

’m not entirely sure it needs to be 4wd – depends what you’re after.

I’m a bit out of date on current RC cars but many years ago I raced electric buggies at a local club (Losi XX was the last one so we’re talking a while back) – it was rwd and the grip it got was great. Can’t say I ever felt limited with where I drove it.

More recently (still 10 years ago at least – maybe 15) I had a nitro power HPI stadium truck. I went rear wheel drive and it was hilarious. You could drive it on most surfaces and I’d slightly loose you could hold massive drifts with it. Also took an insane amount of abuse jumping skateboard ramps etc and rarely broke. All parts were a available pretty easily online.

The Traxxas Rustler above looks pretty good and it’s a well established company.

I’ve had Tamiyas in the past and found I broke them a lot more than the Losinor HPI. Cheaper plastic wishbones / suspension pieces and I didn’t have w lot of luck with driveshafts. That was on a monster truck and my mates Hornet.

    It’s for a 9 year old

Sky etc will be all on broadband fairly shortly, the infrastructure to support that is essential.

No there is no 1gb demand today but that’s because those services are not yet a factor.

    You’ll be thankful shortly.
