Yeah I think its a bit heavy duty especially for 4x and trail ridding, like I said no issue with 321 up until stupid case into log.

I’ve been told by a few stand aren’t as strong as 321s and at twice the price I don’t think its worth it.

Jedi – I was reading you were a bit of a guru….any experience with the 2012 SLX for comparison?

Yeah LBS backed up exactly as Kamina said…..decision is between EN321, 521 or EX721.721 stronger but 590g compared to 521 at 540.

Does 50g on the rim make any real world difference? (100g on 2 cause which ever I go with I’ll match up the front soon)

Was wondering that….I guess hanging up on a log with a 15 ft gap and a decent drop would kill most rims I think the Mavic was £35 so trying to keep it about the same unless a little more would give a lot more.

I know this is lame, but I’m usually quite smooth…..I’d done that drop loads & loads of times!

Tell me about these trance x’s – I’m starting to think about full suss. I ride a 4x play bike for everythink but do lots of mini DH & trail centers. How are these for all Round leaning towards heavy stuff? Particularly like rob Hughes with the pikes!

I ride sunline v1 for both, very nice but if I were buying now I’d go renthal the stem is a work of art and I like the colour (they feel very similar to sunline bars)

It’s isnt an idea xc bike……but anything else is just Sooo much fun so for someone who is not a serious xc rider its ace.

I do ride xc upto about 35 miles, but its not the easiest going so just consider how much xc you do.

I’d look at that new stanton slackline, its not as small as a blender or snap but is ment to be bags of fun anecdote sounds like its better at xc.

It’s just what your after, its my only bike cause I can’t afford a shed load like some and I use it for dh, fr, dj, xc, trail 4x, BMX track the lot.

Strong fast & fun, my mates ride full on dh rigs but I’m never too far behind.

Snap is a bit too race orientated for my liking, alternatively by mama dirts hole shot.

120 should be fine, my blender is ment to be run at 100, 120 max. I run 100 for bmx track, dj, and xc, run 120 for tail ridding and 140 for dh. Love it in all modes :-)

Was disappointed you didn’t go with the blender……but when I saw what you brought all is forgiven, you have great taste. if I had the funds (& more time) I’d love a holeshot. Please post another shot once its complete & let us know how she rides!
