grum nice to know you get a bargain but CRC certainly ain’t doing anywhere near that price ATM, neither is anywhere else, I’d come to terms with paying £180-£190 so £160 feels like a good price right now, sure someone will come along at some point and flog a load off even cheaper but I didn’t want to wait a dropper is useless sat in the shop.

The one at £185 was at Hi Bike.de so not uk sourced but think it dose come with bleed kit you’d need to check but although not clear from my post in all the excitement I’ve purchased from probikeshop.

IMO Stanton is a very good choice, can be set up for whatever you want to ride from XC to DH to 4X and with careful component selection be very good all round.

If budget no issue first off I’d get duel position Lyriks (£650 at on one)

    120mm XC 4X then 160mm Trail Ridding/DH.

    http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/FORSLRC2DP/rockshox_lyrik_rc2l_160mm_dual_position_air_fork

Crossmax SX wheels (guy on here is selling some her won in an enduro race, brand new £530)

XT Group Set (Ribble had some amazing prices last week if not try Merlin or Rose bike/bike discount de etc)

    Renthal/Thomson finishing kit.

Oh yeah and a beautiful LG1 Trail Guide (I’m selling one as new £75 posted RRP £110 😉 )

How…just amazing. Plus huge respect to the guy after that nasty accident , I know it was a while ago but some of the things in that vid take big balls ever for a rider as good as him.

I only did the rear brake hose, it don’t quite sit flush at the bottom but being the underside its hard to see, it was lots of poking with a small screwdriver, I started to damage it so left it as best I could.

Ps is that a Thomson dropper? How is it have been looking at Reverb.

Perhaps I just need to sell the guide & pick up a Thick Thin!? I just find it difficult to images in that such a small change can have such a profound effect!

I’ve been running an XT cluch mech (soon to be Zee Short Cage if anyone is after an XT clutch) with a standard e13 chainring, fine for trails but as I went to a local DH spot it came off every run! Lost faith that a Thick Thin could actually live up to the hype on really rough trails/tracks, it spoilt my day and scratched my crank arms!

I brought it used so did not come with one although I’ve read the 05 tabs may get in the way??

My LBS do a sterling job, you can pay £20 to build but if you buy rim & spokes (no use to you granted) they will build for no extra cost, saying that need a new EN521…that’ll be £50 then!

Always wore 661 Kyles, never tried anything else to compare but don’t feel the need, wear them for all types or riding including XC. I notice when I don’t where them just how much my knees hit the bike.

Not Thick Thin but clutch mech, short chain, no guide…trail riding fine, DH course useless, was running that set up until I could get hold of a Think Thin, don’t believe the hype so brought an E13 Trail guide.

I’ve been on wellgo mags for some time, tried the Nano’s, I found them too big and too flat, I do have small feet mind (size 9).

The mags fit like a comfy old boot. However if I’d had larger feet they may have appealed more. Look great too.

Awsome this Pete, yeah your not Jared Graves just yet but I’ll bet my bottom dollar your better than many an STW forum member and a dam sight quicker too.

I think you should challenge pussywillow to a few races, XC, DH and Enduro…you’d take them all!

Look forward to ridding Eastridge soon.

Thank you, given I’m so torn between 140 & 160, 150 is the middle ground and as you state setting the sag correct means it should sit very nice & plush.
