When he goes out, hop over the fence and pour weedkiller over his lawn in a pattern that spells out 'w@nker'.

    That'll teach him.

I was expecting one of these threads to appear in typical grumpy STW stylee. FFS only in England would we criticise others for displaying the national flag around St Georges day and the upcoming world cup tournament.

FWIW, in the 2002 world cup in used some red electrical tape to create a St Georges flag on the bonnet of my old white Vauxhall Nova….. 😛

Not ridden Coed Y Brenin, but Llandegla is mostly smoothish and flowy singletrack with some jumps/berms in places. Easy to ride, but great fun nevertheless, some sections are like oversize BMX tracks. The 'black' route isnt really a black either….

If its the 1.2 Fabia im pretty certain they have chain cam engines, so obviously wouldnt need a belt change.

It's not in the news because it's not in a hole in the ground up north and actually has some trees on it?

    Hmmmmm… after posting this yesterday – http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/bike-outlet-york

I phoned up enquiring about availability of some forks. Lad i spoke to couldnt say either way whether they had what i wanted in stock, or if the description on their website was correct or not, and to phone back another time to check…

Ive just got what is touted as the replacement for the 5800 – the Nokia X6. Better touch screen, 5mp camera, Sat Nav and 16gb memory. Impressed so far, and works out and more than 50% cheaper than running an iphone over 18 months.

Virgin / Absolute radio had a thing earlier about introducing Bull Fighting to the UK, with the organiser of the event on the phone trapping off about it. Had me for a minute to be honest!

They come with one anyway as they have a SS tensioner on them. The idea of them is so they can be easily converted into a geared bike. Check pic here – http://www.thebikefactory.co.uk/productdetails.asp?productid=46754

Im seriously tempted by one myself to give the 29er thing a go on a budget.

Just got a Nokia X6 on upgrade with a Orange £20/month 18 month deal. 16gb internal memory, drag and drop to upload music, sounds good with easy to use interface. Cant complain when it was free really. Job done.

Recon air's 120mm travel. Feels good to me.

How do you find the 29er rigid forks/which ones are you running?

    31.693858493 then?

That's more of a Power-XC/FreeCore Mince Lite pressure – in the dry only though.

Complete disaster running that pressure in the wet….

Anywhere between 31.693858492 and 31.693858494 is the best pressure.

Had total brake failure (old Hope Mini's) in the Alps as i was braking into a hairpin bend with a sheer drop the other side. How TF i got round that corner without coming off i will never know.

If you are backed against the wall, just remind them that revenge is a dish best served cold and that you WILL have the last laugh.

You might not get a reference after that, but will give them something to think about… 😈

+ (however many) for breach of contract. Although threatening small claims is a bit OTT, life's too short for hassle and all that….
