London is alright and i tend to have a good time when I visit friends there, but…

1) It still has a massive inferiority complex and desperately wishes it was New York.

2) It's a 24 hour city only in so far as it still exists when you wake up.

3) It's still full of people you never liked when you were at sixth form college in Guildford, Chichester, Nottingham, Salford or Dundee who are now all convinced that they're Johnny Cosmopolitan because they drank a hazelnut latte on the way to work and live next to a black man.

Got Recon solo air's on my 456, set to 120mm. Seems to suit the bike well, although RS dual air forks ride a lot better IMO.

Got back from Slovenia last week, 2nd time ive visited. Julian Alps in the NE – Kransjka Gora or Bovec, lovely part of the world. As already said, buses are regular and cheap from Ljubjlana, couple of hours at most.

Cheaper than the UK, nice and clean, very green and friendly people. Shame flights there are limited from the UK.

I put some oil in my 456 frame when i got it, wish i hadnt bothered now as it dripped out of the holes on the end of the chain/seat stays and caused a right 'kin mess over the rear brake and wheel.

My brother replaced a headshok with a 100mm RS Reba on a F600 – maybe 5 year old bike? Anyway, transformed the bike, much better to ride.

Well i think its great but i prefer XC side of riding, its obviously not 'core enough for the internet DH hero's….. 😉

AFAIK, Recon's only became available in 140mm for 2010. Previously, they were longest at 130mm.

No idea why your older one's are showing 140mm of stantion though….?
