Speeds appear to be all over the place but the Red Bulls were pretty quick up the kemmel straight during the race.

Am I reading that link right and the fastest speed trap speed was only 173mph?

    Same here in Hertfordshire.
I did think it may be the overcast/misty weather but it hasn’t done it on any of the other mornings this week with similar weather?

I had the phone call last week (I’m about 85kg) and I was grateful for not being sold something that might not be suitable.
I sourced a used CTD Kashima shock and i’ll be getting this Pushed instead.

I know the area north of there pretty well (st Claude – Saint Laurent area) and it’s a fantastic part of France.
I “might” have some guide books on the area too – what would you like to know?

As a car to live with day-to-day it has to be the Golf.
Try and spec the Dynaudio upgrade if you can 8)

BTW I had a mk6 GTD and have had a number of vRS’s and if space isn’t the major requirement I would choose the GTD without doubt.

Or put it another way, if you were going out on a date with a hot girl, which one would you like to pull up in? 😉

£37 for the Terra Nova survival Bivi

I recently picked up a Terra Nova Discovery Bivi for £60 (from £200) from Go Outdoors.

I think you would struggle to get much more old fashioned than Rules in Covent Garden.[/url]

Corrigans in Mayfair[/url] is also recommended.

    Try Hotlines.

Failing that these look pretty similar.

I had my old vRS remapped by Shark and the clutch started slipping. It needed an uprated clutch (circa £1k) but I understand this was an exception. I haven’t heard of gearboxes failing.
The REVO map for the 140 is rated at about 290lb/ft so you should be OK (assuming it has same clutch as the vRS?)
A mate went to AMD for a remap on his Golf GTD CR. They went through 2 ECU’s before giving it back 5 weeks later unmapped!
He ended up at REVO and had it mapped with no problems.

    Revs,

It all looked pretty empty. Hertford had a problem with empty retail units so maybe they’re biding their time and waiting for the market to improve.
I looped round on the way back from a ride as its not somewhere I usually go in Hertford as its tucked out of the way and I was surprised to see a Sainsburys at the back!

    Stirling,
I don’t think there are any working maltings in Hertford (or Ware for that matter) anymore but maybe Stansted Abbotts?

I had the vRS estate on order from the beginning of December but got messed around a lot with build dates. When the build date disappeared from the system I had had enough and cancelled. Shame really as it would have been my 4th!
A mate had a few Clio 16v and ended up with the Trophy. Very useful track cars!

Blame isn’t attributable in divorce cases.
My ex was out having an affair when I was at home looking after the children but the courts aren’t concerned with details or moral arguments – their primary concern is quite rightly for the children.
My children were 2 and 5 at the time and her lovers were 10 months and 2!
I understand courts attitudes are changing with regards fathers importance in their child’s welfare but I think it’s ingrained into society that children are better off with the mother.

When my ex learned there was a 1/7th adjustment for every night a week I have my children she said she wouldn’t have agreed to it if she had known!
It’s a very sad situation but there are women who use their children as a bargaining tool/threat.

To see the effect on the family subsequently was pretty heart breaking.

I was on holiday in Tenerife with my girlfriend at the time.
We met another couple and we hung around with each other a bit but didn’t keep in contact after the holiday.
About 12 months later I was in the Velvet Underground in London and someone sat down next to me – turns out it was the couple we had met on holiday.
We kept in touch from then on and it later transpired that I had shaken hands with one of his best friends a number of years earlier, as we had been opposing captains in a school county cup football match.
We’re still very close friends over 20 years later and I ended up marrying and having children with another of his friends……that didn’t end so well!

Here’s advice i was given a few years ago:
So for tree pollen [spring] we are really talking starting in early april and and for grass pollen we are talking starting in late may
Once the allergic cascade has started then most treatments are less effective
Best combination can be obtained over the counter without Px -ie nasal steroid [budesonide 200ug daily] +/- antihistamine [cetirzine 10mg daily ] depending on severity and also whether eye or throat symptoms are present .the dose may need to be doubled up during periods of peak pollen exposure .Also for more severe persistent cases an antileukotriene can be added as montelukast 10mg daily [needs Px from a doc ] .For refractory sneezing and eye itching then use of on demand cromoglycate eye drops and nose spray is usefull -also available without Px .
Finally if despite all this ,there is still breakthru symptoms during peak pollen levels ,then a short burst of oral steroid tablets -eg prednisolone 15-25mg daily for up to 2 weeks is effective and safe

Does anyone who has bit internet tried accessing bt sport from a non bt internet connection?

I’ve used the BT Sports app using my parents login over my Virgin broadband and it works.

I’ve since subscribed to the BT Sports channel through Virgin.

If you’re that concerned disconnect the HT or coil leads and crank until pressure comes up – that’s the method I use on my race engine after winter hibernation.
