If she made it back to home, i wouldn’t necessarily have gone down the breakdown recovery route either and suggested Halfords or similar

I put what i considered risky orders in on 15th & 16th, one with wiggle & one with crc…both had items that were out of stock on the product page but still in my basket: both orders were fulfilled. Genuinely stunned and big thanks to crc/wiggle for that 🙏

I tried with the Garmin offer a few times and never managed to figure it: i wanted an edge 530 (just unit, no bundle) and id go in using code etc but when i clicked for just unit they’d be no price although a reduced price would show for the bundles. Thought it might be a stock thing so tried over different periods but never managed to be able to add one to basket

Chanced one last order on the 12th, £35 and most of that is for a couple of Fohn bits so can’t see it turning up.

Why not? Think the wind down has been handled well. I cancelled an order on Monday and was refunded via PayPal within a couple of hours. Have lots of smaller orders in and they’re all trickling along. If they aren’t dispatched by end of next week then i might suspect they won’t be seen but as of now, I don’t see why folk should be too concerned

Never had a problem with superstar myself… always good service. Bought their pads since the early days and never had any delaminate (unlike some Clarks pads last year). I really don’t get the hate

Given all the hangers have now sold out, i had a look at it closer and the hanger part itself is exactly the same as for the rapide fs aside the screw diameter is slightly wider.

What it means is you can fit it but without the screw…ive bought same as emergency to chuck in my bag.

Technically you could mod your frame to fit the wider screw: hole is 4.5mm and i reckon screw is 4.8mm so a slight increase in size would allow it to fit. But i don’t want to risk that

Got me wondering if they will just pull the plug and stop before all the stock is sold. I don’t see how you can submit a bid though when stock is still being sold so is out of date as soon as you’ve submitted?

Agree with folk above. Im still ordering stuff and working on the basis there are now no returns so, if I dont like it/doesnt fit/etc, its classifieds or ebay

Stuck in limbo on an order now as havent had my order of the 7th cancelled given the use of the voucher code….thats still showing ‘Order placed’. Im guessing its going to be cancelled as I put an order in for 1 item that I know is low stock that I had in for first order and within a few minutes thats now ‘Order processing’. Either buy the genuine sram pads with replacement or, do what I’ve done, and lost them and not replaced. Had two sets of Elixirs without any for years and now Codes too

Yeah, the questions didnt show for me on my smartphone (Android – Chrome) but worked fine on my desktop

 

Assume it’s the same as on my Rapide FS  (rs sid sl) and therefore it is simple to remove the remote but, given the spring in the damper in the remote lockout version, it will always be full open and so it’s up to whether that matters to you.

Back in the day you could do a diy fix to make the damper like a non-remote version (peterpoddy did a guide if i remember right) but I’m unsure with the latest damper.

Its 40mm (giving 100mm travel).

I agree with others, you have to run it high…. running 240psi and I’m about 72.5kg with bike kit on.
