nuke – you came over as a cock – end of!

Based on these questions ….”So what exactly are you expecting? That sellers strip forks down to there parts and then take photos? ” How?

If OP hadn’t comeback aggresive and answered my queries I’d have not commented further.

Forum regulars round on sporadic forum user whose allegedly has rounded on new forum user

What a way to treat a newcomer to the forum.

Seriously intrigued by this “what a way to treat a newcomer”. WTF? I asked a question and got a bit of a aggressive response yet I’m been construed as some forum baddy. If he had answered my query all would be fine and dandy. I didn’t realise we had to treat newcomers with such kid gloves.

dancake i think you have been treated abysmally by the people in this thread. Some people set out to be pious **** all the time, pity they are all in this one thread.

Oh here we go, climb down off that big horsey. I asked a question, that was all. Seriously, I’ve bought and sold forks a plenty and I wanted to know if it was normal to expect sellers to strip down their forks before sale.

no you are right. We should all take pot f**king luck with our hard earned money and buy blind.

“I have no quarrel with the seller” did you read that part? I was giving advice ffs

    Bit aggressive

    I am leaving this forum.

    you’re a sensitive soul!

What is your problem? I’ve asked a question of what you expect from a seller, not your seller specifically, any seller. I didn’t realise you were performing some civic duty with this thread and we, humble forum dwellers, were not allowed to question your statement.

I’m asking a question as denoted by the ‘?’ so, go on, what exactly are you expecting of a seller?

Lucky or dumb? Guy on the first vid was on the wrong side of the barrier and if he just stood still looks like he would have been fine, 2nd and 3rd vid just dumb :-)

Moral of the story; DONT BUY FORKS BLIND!

So what exactly are you expecting? That sellers strip forks down to there parts and then take photos?

Make sure that when you bleed them before you remove the syringes you kind of force the fluid back into the system and then disconnect the syringes (edit: as per what mk1fan said as well). It doesn’t show this in the instructions and the first time I bled my Juicies I followed the instructions to the letter and got the same symptoms as you.

From looking at the video on the link right at the end, the guy has a photo album of work including a pic of her; if you were so horrified why would pose for a photo? ‘Rebel’ daughter gets tats done then regrets it once home and parents see imho.

I can comfortably ride for at least 3 hours offroad – singletrack, steep climbs, farm tracks etc. I also did London to Brighton last year in just over 4 hours riding time (lots of forced stops though) and felt fine.

Same sort of thing as me and then I did the 65 miler in 2007…as mentioned, one of the waterlogged years: I found it very tough and it was a lot different than my expectations mostly due to the shear quantity of climbs. Went back the year after much better prepared plus it was dryer and it seemed fine.

As mentioned, I’d say give the 65 miler ago and then aim for the 100 miler.

iirc I can see there’s someone on this thread who’s done the double (edit: plus I’ve now seen your profile)…hats off to you hazeii. :-)

Anyone else feel like this sometimes?

    Yep :(

…but its summer so I’m going to make the most of it and try and stay positive :-)

Perhaps moving to another country for a bit or something like that could be the answer, change of scenery and that.

By coincidence it was a move to another country a few years ago that all went a bit wrong then a move back to UK that has caused me to go through low periods

Oh good, the new ones out. Thought it must have been due soon as my issue #49 was looking a bit tired after several weeks in the bog
