I can't see whats wrong with veggie sausages, though I don't eat them often.
Mincing up lips and arseholes etc and stuffing them into skins is hardly natural. Why try make them into something else – meat is great, right?

Contador needs friends, preferably on his own team. I fear he could stitched up.

I just had that on one after the first ride. New bearings are cheap though.

    Another vote for the middle.
Easy to ride all day and not see a soul whilst the Beacons and Snowdonia will be crawling.

    Dyffryn Arms, Cwm Gwaun.
Decent Bass, friendly folks, garden. No other trappings of modern life.
Also fine road for family cycling.

Might get a bit hot at the moment. You will need a fan even in winter.

There is a good days (slightly boggy in places)riding in the Preseli hills about 10 miles N of Bluestone but that’s about it for Pembrokeshire. Brechfa trail centre is just the other side of Carmarthen.
I can’t show you round because I moved somewhere where the biking is better.
If you do ride the Preselis I’d recommend a pint outside the Dyffryn Arms, Cwm Gwaun, on a sunny afternoon.

    I’d be up for it.
I did it about five years ago – it is easier than you’d think.
I’m not far away so not much planning needed on my part.
Castell y Bere car park is close to bottom of bridleway and a good place to meet – but organise this later.

A long time ago someone in a bike shop told me that to get the plasticcy taste out of a new water bottle you should fill it with water plus a teaspoonful of vinegar and let it stand overnight.

About 20 miles away for natural (boggy) riding in the Preselis or trail centre at Brechfa. You might be better thinking about somewhere en route.

From the map I think you are 30m out at the bottom and 50m out at the top there, theflatboy (having checked multimap where I can enlarge it)
And what’s this about OS not being accurate vertically? Do the trig points move up and down or something?
I ride the route regularly and I was thinking that the stated 670M sounded much more reasonable than these 1000M+ estimates – but then I have nothing to go on other than my experience based on OS data and no idea how I’d check it. Agree on the good fun bit though.

Can’t really help you on that MrTall, other than that road bikes have run carbon steerers long before carbon stems became popular. You may have to be careful of sharp edges and things.

I have a set and they are stiff enough but I find them frighteningly light for proper offroad (though I’m perfectly happy with a carbon steerer on my cross bike). Probably they’d be fine for what you want but do you really need something that light for commuting on a hardrock? I heard they are the same as Ritchey WCS forks so you may be able to get info on them if you don’t get an answer from the seller.
