Tasting notes on M of M always sound lush (and whiskey is generally lush stuff, I`m sure the Bowsaw will be). Problem for me would be that it is near £40 and only 40% where you could get Eagle Rare or Wild Turkey 101 or others for same or less.
But no, I`ve never tried it.

Bulleit Rye is made by MGP in Indiana so it ought to be good stuff.
Wild Turkey 101 best bang for buck bourbon

BBC Wales correspondant Tomos Morgan just (19:41) said that on the News that Snowdon is UK’s third highest mountain. I had to play it back five times to believe what I heard.

I don’t know Gentleman Jack but Jack Daniels Single Barrel is £25 in Sainsbury and ASDA and well worth it IMO. (Gone back up again on Amazon and elsewhere)

The benefit or not depends on how much you have to pay for natural logs and how dry they are

Whisky is nice, isn’t it? I don’t really do peat and smoke, plus I do like grain and blended whisky, bourbon, rye, etc.
However, a single malt that really impressed me recently was Kavalan Solist, bourbon barrel (cheapest) version. Just a smidgeon over the price limit if you hunt around. Taste of coconut icecream and pineapple.
Also Paul John (classic select) for £55ish. Rich spicy tropical whisky.
But like I say, whisky is nice.

Flor de Cana 18 currently £33.50 from decantalo.com and they upgraded  me to the arty gift pack version with a book of poetry in Spanish. You have to buy at least three bottles to get the post down, but nice price also on posh Havana Club so Xmas sorted.

Also I note Appleton 12yo £28 on amazon

Is there anything actually wrong with the existing lawn other than the level? If not then cut fold  the turf back in high and low places, add/remove soil as necessary and turn the turf back.

For snails go out in the evening, pick them off by hand and take them down the road somewhere. The most effective use of beer is to reward oneself by drinking one per 100 snails.

Make beer traps but cover them so wildlife/pets can’t get to them and put a few slug bait pellets in each one. Use orange juice instaed of beer.
