so I was checking my phone in bed, saw this, sneaked into the garage and confirmed I had a spare helmet and bar mount for exposure and ordered the joystick.

I have been drinking, this is a bad idea, I don’t know weather to love you lot or hate you

you took the guys money, i think you should honour that agreement; unless you have incurred more costs since. jeez, give the guy a break, he got his wallet out, more than some would do

sounds like on ok price. check there is no play in the rear end by rocking the wheel side to side. there are loads of bearings and a service will cost 90£. check where the brake hose clamps to the chainstay as it can wear into the ally. check downtube etc carefully for dents. aside from that enjoy. great bikes

when my enduro has light wheels and tyres on it feels like I can pedal it all day, it certainly climbs better than you think it would.

My mates with light bikes mock me but I think I have more fun on the downs

my enduro does everything from 4 hour rides in the peaks to downhill tracks. I think it is pretty much perfect if you can only afford one bike.

the weight is OK, gets a bit draggy with flows \ 2.5 tacky minions for longer rides though

I’ve got a nice orange P7 that would fit your bill, would swap it for a downhill bike, it has a particularly nice set of bulb \ 521 wheels on it

grid reference if you want to complain is: SK 234 846

lets get on this one, if hundreds of us register a complaint it might make them think twice next time.

If you are even vaguely local then you can also have a look at the Ride Sheffield facebook site

please complain to derbyshire ROW department. Link here:

    http://www.derbyshire.gov.uk/leisure/countryside/access/rights_of_way/enquiries/default.asp

I have asked for 3 specific bits of info:

    – how many people contacted you saying the track was too bumpy asking you to flatten it?

    – how much money is being spent on this?

    – how many people have contacted you to complain that the current work is unwanted and is ruining the trail?

they are compelled to reply under FOI leglislation, if we all ask the same questions it should be interesting.

Please complain now (not just on here!)

I wear a full face at deggers. I do this so that my face is protected if i fall off. You could have figured this out without starting this thread if you had stopped to think about it

I had the same problem this week. I ended up taking the cap off the non drive side and tapping the whole axle out from that side

Make sure you have a look soon. If there are bits of broken springs in there it could cause damage. I wrecked a bulb hub that way

I have had exactly the same problem, same tyre, same rim, same terrifying explosion on landing.

I find it happens with the folding ones but not with the wire bead ones, I think they are just a bit too floppy

I use langsett cycles for most repairs. They are really good

Op – if you were planning on having kids anyway i dont really see what difference it makes. Would you really go through a termination for the sake of 3 years? If you didnt want kids at all it would be different

I do this with wire bead ones and it works fine. Kevlar ones explode dramatically off the rims

its worth pulling the freehub off every few months just to stop it siezing onto the axle if nothing else.

I also had the problem with springs breaking frequently but the last set have lasted ages, maybe just a dodgy batch

    nosedive

You should have a look at that. If there are little bits of broken spring floating around they will cause damage

I have an A6, It’s a massive car. My wife refuses to drive it.

If I was getting a new one I would probably avoid the 3.0 and go for the 170 hp 2.0, it’s ok for power and cheaper to run

hope pro 2 hub will be the standard reply, and its a good reply because it takes all axle standards and should save you money in the long run.

Rims – loads of people rate Stans Rims if you want to go tubeless, Crest if you want them light, Arch if you want them to be tough, but still light, flow if you want them bombproof.

Custom build from Merlin with Arch EX is £ 120.

you should get the Pacentis so you can tell us all if they are any good.

its not going to help you now but it’s worth keeping a roll of outer and some inners to hand. I usually just replace the cables if the shifting is getting dodgy and that usually solves the problem.

you might just get away with cleaning and lubing though if you are keen to get out and ride

i like the little panicky noises the rider makes as the Emu starts its charge
