@neilc1881 they are just stunning. Do you sell them at all, may I ask how much? PM if prefer. They’re beautiful!

@kayak23 that is amazing. Totally beautiful. I suspect it’s probably going to be a bit much, in North Yorkshire but have access to a trailer to pick something up. Got a space 1/1.5m by 1.5/2m which we can use. I think bigger issue is trying to keep £ down to 2/300 if possible. Yours look absolutely amazing but I can’t see how you’d make a small version for that kind of money.

    Stunning!

So sorry to hear your news, properly grim.

My experience comes from my wife’s grandmother, who was one of the longest surviving patients with terminal bone cancer at the time she died, well over ten years. At the other end of the spectrum, one of my best mates lost a ~8 month battle with leukaemia.

I’d suggest with regards when to stop\when to fight, only you and your wife will know this, so trust yourselves. But in both instances the medical advice given to my GiL and friend was superb and pragmatic. My friend fought like f@#&, and when it became clear this was unsuccessful he was able to accept it and he had a few very precious months with friends and family.

The more people I know who have gone through it, the more it seems to me there’s no right way To ‘do’ it and every journey is unique. Lot of people rooting for you here.

@TiRed just to say thank you for your contributions. I won’t pretend to understand all of them, but very grateful for your perspective and data based realism.

I did have the live track issue, but as above seems to be fixed by the update.

The problem I do have now is my tickr constantly dropping connection with the bolt, it’s been a nightmare! Anyone had this issue?

I think the issue the OP has is you can’t get a massage currently, nor is there any sight of when you can!

OP I’ve been looking at the same, to compliment foam roller. Googling brings many vague reviews with people saying ‘theragun is best’ but never really why, and a complete lack of seemingly impartial advice.

Hola! So Eurocamp have come straight back and agreed to refund me. Impressed – looks like they’ve found a more balanced position than the last few weeks.

My email had just explained why a credit note wasn’t useful, empathised with their position but just confirmed the official ABTA guidance and asked for a refund in a more timely manner than March 21, ie the next few months.

Hi team. So for info they’ve now officially cancelled ours. This is the wording they use. FYI I’ve emailed back saying I will accept a credit note but for a maximum of 6-8 weeks, so accept it takes them a while, but not March 2021

“We’re emailing to tell you the sad news that your upcoming holiday cannot go ahead. We have delayed our 2020 season in line with FCO advice to protect both our customers and staff during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Within the next 7 days we’ll cancel your booking and apply an ABTA approved refund credit against your customer record in our reservations system. This will be for the amount you have paid towards your booking, and is valid for any booking made before 31 March 2021. You can use this credit for any holiday in 2021, so you can start looking forward to your next escape!

    Financial protection
For your peace of mind, your refund credit is financially protected by ABTA until 31st March 2021. If you have not used the credit by 31 March 2021 you can request a cash refund.

Price Match Guarantee – Pay your 2020 price for 2021
If you want to book the same holiday next year we can offer you a price match guarantee (this excludes any travel options). Transfer your holiday to the same parc, same accommodation, and the same or equivalent date in 2021 and we will honour the price you paid for these services in 2020.

Use your Refund Credit Note to book your 2021 holiday now!
Our 2021 holidays have just gone on sale. To book using your Refund Credit Note head to our website, find your perfect holiday for next year and then checkout using the COVID-19 Credit payment method. Once booked our team will make sure your refund credit is applied to your new holiday booking and, if you qualify for our Price Match Guarantee, we’ll adjust the price too.“

Hi Michael. Yes and no. Can’t get my head around zipp money. Decided I’ll probably upgrade to a disc supersix later in the year or next!

That sounds very tricky. We are very much resigned to our holiday not happening. Was going to be the four year olds first trip abroad!

Hopefully we will get our money back and be able to take a domestic UK break in the summer.

Good luck with yours, fingers crossed.

    Thanks P-Jay

This is slightly what I was afraid of. I guess worst case is take the credit note and hope they don’t go bust! It seems pretty unethical but then they’re trying to protect their cash flow.

    Hi!!!!

Sorry for radio silence. I did make a choice in the end….. think I’m actually going to break the bike down.

Groupset on to my RX9, which needs a new group, sell the frame, forks, seat post and bars and then buy a new, disc brake bike. Almost certainly a Supersix! I just can’t get my head around the big money for a set of rim brake carbon wheels!

Some really awesome food for thought there. Thank you everyone!!!

    Clx50’s definitely worth a look.

There’s a LOT of positive noise about 303’s and also the Farsport/LB wheels, no smoke without fire so I’ll have a look.

It’s a 2019 supersix evo, last one before they went dropped chainstays so should be good on clearance I think. But a really good point I will check!

Thanks! I’ll check out LB and Farsport. Good to see people have had good experience.

Do they have extra small elastic bands, or should I take a few in case?

Some proper funnies in there, and some wincing!

Thank you very much. I was offered an elastic band but felt it might have taken away a little more than I bargained for!!!

    Cheers gang.

If you’re in to your single malts, and single cask tickles your fancy, I can get you a 20% discount on membership of the SMWS

Single malt, single cask from known distilleries but purchased on the basis of flavour. Age is no guarantee… Their bottles are excellent value.

If interested drop me a PM and I’ll send you the link

I’ve run cross climate +’s for the last 2.5 years on a golf r estate. Through the heavy snow of two years ago also.

I’ve found them to be excellent, especially so in the wet. Wet braking is superb. Snow wise I found them very good, the reports of sub par performance don’t match my experience.

After 20k Miles they had 6mm tread all round and they didn’t need swapping. Big thumbs up from me.

I’ve got my Golf R estate on auto trader currently. Be prepared for some people offering you repaired write offs in part exchange! I’ve sold on auto trader a few times and it’s been very good. Bank transfer or cash paid in to the bank with the person is the way to go.
